- According to reports, Kevin Durant is on his way to join us in the desert. The Brooklyn Nets have agreed to trade KD to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and four first-round picks. The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly finalizing a three-team trade that would send Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz and acquire D’Angelo Russell from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt would also go to LA. The Lakers are also sending Patrick Beverley to Orlando for Mo Bamba and Thomas Bryant to Denver for wing depth.

This was such a failure for the Nets, the GM should be fired this week after this debacle he made so many mistakes with this team, all the way until the end where he traded Kyrie for 2 role players instead of hitting the reset button like he had to the next day when KD asked out, idk how he can justify these moves, he could have potentially traded for Russ and 2 unprotected first round picks as well as this massive haul of picks and he would have ended the Era of the Harden, Irving and KD trio with 6 unprotected first round picks and 1 protected first round pick that would have massively changed the outcome of this team moving forward
I think it was the owner who ok'ed the KD thing... Kinda like the Knicks' Dolan wanting the Carmelo sign n trade even though Walsh had a plan to get Melo then CP3 1yr/2yrs l8tr w/o giving up all the good young players

Nobody cares about picks, it's not NFL. Even there they aren't that much guarantee, but in NBA they are way overrated.
The only mistake he made was letting KD make the choices of who coaches and who co stars with him. They literally got a historic haul for trading a former MVP who still can score amazingly well but he is out hurt almost as much as AD

I like that everyone on this show seems to like each other and that it's less yelly than some of the other morning sports shows.
These guys are simply the best to watch . I thought it would of been tough when cris Carter left cuz I thought they were good together, then Jenna left she had good chemistry with everyone . And wildes holds it down even better and nick and Chris and the guest are fun

the suns lost alot of depth and their best defenders are now in brooklyn 2 way players , and Broussard saying they took a little hit in their depth is just plain wrong 2 starters and the 7th guy off the bench is a lot , ion trust cp3 in the playoffs, ayton can’t stop other bigs unless they are a lesser player than him, durant is the only consistent player but at this point in his career he gets hurt multiple times in a season, and booker didn’t show up when it mattered most, same for cp3 and ayton.

Brou is just making excuses for KD, which contending team in the last decade hasn't had to deal with some form of injuries. None of those teams completely fell apart like Brooklyn. The only reason it happened to the Nets was because KD was enabling Kyrie's worst habits.
But he is right on one point, if the Suns don't win at least the WCF this year, KD is going to get clowned endlessly. If that happens while this plucky new Brooklyn team lasts more than 4 games in the first round, he might as well delete his twitter and all of his burner accounts because he is going to get shat on like nobody's business
