- The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly finalizing a three-team trade that would send Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz and acquire D’Angelo Russell from the Minnesota Timberwolves. Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt would also go to LA while the Timberwolves would receive Mike Conley and draft picks. Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react to the Lakers trade.

This really is the best format for Undisputed. Having the live audience lets Skip and Shannon adjust based on the audience reactions and you get a bit more of showmanship and genuine feel out of it.

As a die hard Lakers fan I want to say thanks to Russ for his hard work and determination, yea when we first got him the Lakers fans hated him and we wanted him gone really bad but this year he actually stepped up his play and eventually started to figure it out so I thank him for his hard work and not giving up.

I must say, IM HAPPY FOR RUSS, I’m not a huge Westbrook fan, but they have been trying to give him the Carmelo treatment for some years now. They have been saying he’s WASHED UP, SHOULD CONSIDER RETIREMENT, AND MADE HIM THE SCAPEGOAT FOR ALL THE LAKERS LOSSES. I know this is about his contract, and he will probably ask for buyout from the Jazz at some point. The lakers are a mess, D’Angelo is NOT the answer, he’s just going to be the new SCAPEGOAT. I still can’t understand why the lakers trade soooo many point guards when Lebron is going to beat the ball to death every game, what’s the point? Well, hopefully Russ can get a new start somewhere and get some of that money. Carry on.

When Russ took the 6th man role, it was truly one of the best actions of his career. When he chaffs against playing different roles on teams, it just makes him look bad. Nobody, not even Lebron can be great at basketball forever. It’s no shade in playing a role on a team. I loved how long Vince Carter was able to play pro ball. Leadership is such an underrated need on teams, Jalen Hurts is currently teaching a clinic on intangibles on pro ball clubs and personal development.
