I added this as an extra day and walked from the caravan site at Langcliffe, where we were staying to Horton in Ribblesdale via Pen-y-Ghent.
From Langcliffe village I headed towards Stainforth passing the Craven Lime Works. The tunnel there is quite dark and a little spooky, but it's an interesting place to visit. From Stainforth village it is over moorland to reach Pen-y-Ghent. The climb up is quite steep with a bit of a scramble near the top which I found a little daunting, especially as it was cloudy and I could not see or hear anyone else around. I was pleased to get past that part!. Unfortunately with the cloud, there were no views from the summit. Walking down was easy and I visited both Hunt Pot and Hull Pot which were both close to the path.
Warm again today and a lovely walk.
    10.5 miles.
