I think chewy is something that does have “bounce”when it’s being chewed. Just because something takes along time to chew doesn’t mean it’s chewy. A rock for instance would take forever to chew but it is not chewy. 😂
Why do I always get so excited whenever you upload a video. You should try doing a dairy vs dairy free video. Especially the Ben & Jerry’s ice creams. I think you’ll be surprised. ✌🏻

I remember having those lemon, edible wrapping things as a kid. My GMA used to go to a hairstylist that was Japanese. These candies and others were given to me and it was a trip. And the weirdest part is.. I don't remember being told it was edible.. but I def remember eating it🤦🤣

Hi chew is actually a Japanese candy says right on the package. Just bought two big bags for my wife. Ahe loves the original flavors like grape, apple, cherry, strawberry, orange, pineapple. You all are great love the reactions
The Japanese absolutely love their kit-kats. Over the years they come up with all different flavors. Around now they may have a pumpkin flavored one. Also, if you can try and get eel cookies. Yes I said eel. I'm told that the oil is in the pastry itself. These can be found in Hamamatsu City, where eel is a local delicacy.
As someone who has grown up with all those snacks, I love your reactions to these. And hichew ain't got nothing on puccho!

It’s funny watching you guys eat all the different foods because I actually live in japan right now me and my husband got stationed out here and watching you eat these different snacks and get your reactions is my day to day life when I go out and get something to eat😂👏 you never know what your truly going to get and how it’s going to tastes!

Those vending machines are amazing! You never needed to worry about getting thirsty, keep plenty of coins in your pocket. And the convenient stores have delicious food. I miss their food.

My sister, her husband and son lived in Japan for 5 years. I got care packages from her a lot. I was screaming at you to NOT eat the rice paper packing. I made that mistake. Also, Japanese candy, as well as most European candies and chocolates are usually lower in sugar.
If you liked the mint stuff, Ramunè has stuff too! It’s super minty chewing gum. I think you can buy it on amazon. Or if you have an Asian market, it should be there too. Also, I know on amazon they have a ton of amazing flavors of Japanese kit-Kat’s. I love the cheesecake KitKats, the smoked tea ones, the pancake ones. I could go on about Japanese foods. I, too, want to go to Japan. Badly. Loved this video.

You need to try the strawberry or vanilla of the icecream cone cookies. Those two flavors are half chocolate and half strawberry or vanilla. Chocolate is just solid chocolate.
I justed googled how many islands Japan has and as of 3 March 2023 there are 14,125 islands...apparently they found another 7,000+ islands. That is crazy!! 😮

You guys should try japanese pepsi. They have every type of flavor out there for it. They even have pepsi with loads of caffeine in it. Also japan has something like 120 different KitKat flavors
There's gummi bear chewy (haribo has a tougher bite), then there's mamba/ starburst chewy, soft, but takes effort, and finally now & later chewy. That kind has to be "kneaded" as Cam mentioned. I might have to add mentos in between the last two. Lol

I was born in Tokyo ...dad was USAF....I don't remember much, but mom hated the earthquakes ...we have pix of how high the earthquake crack is above the foundation...we had one that when I was in crib, a big one hits as it's rocking and my crib was rolling back and forth...I loved it, mom, not so much...

Couple of things, you know, Japan drove on left side...mom said they all drove crazy...ok, yes, lots of islands...lots of volcanos...and the stability of 300 islands
The reason why chocolate isn't a very hot commodity in Japan is because chocolate is considered a luxury food item, and Japanese people tend to eat healthier anyway. So that's why the cheaper stuff won't taste as good, because they tend to make the pricier stuff taste good.

If you have an Asian Market or Safeway, there is several Japanese icecream options - my son loves mochi and there is an icecream sandwich that is in a plain enclosed cone in the shape of a fish. I get the vanila with chocolate, but they also have green tea flavor.
The fish shaped ice cream is the BEST!!!

UK and Europe officially have the best chocolate companies IMO: Cadburys (UK), Belgium Chocolate, Lindt (Swiss), Ferrero (Italy) i'm sure there are others i just can't think of them.
