- Mario is diagnosed with Sacral Agenesis and Goldenhar Syndrome. He walks using his hands and fears that people are constantly judging him. Mario's hope is that people will talk to him about their interests instead of focusing on his differences.

Your hair is awesome, Mario! I hope you can feel more positivity from people than the negative ones...people who are negative are only lashing out because they are hurting inside and just trying to hurt others regardless of who they are. I had severe scoliosis growing up and people made fun of my back brace and how my back looked. But I'm 32 now and I feel I wouldn't be the person I know and love today without my diagnosis. We are stronger people because of it. Carry on Mario, you are strong and amazing!
Anyone that bullies you is a person to feel sorry for, because they're lacking character. You're a great guy. You should hold your head high and look people in the eye. Shine your light.
I find Mario to be very inspirational. He experiences the same emotional struggles I, and most others I know, do but unlike me, he is strong enough to share them with other people. I mostly keep mine inside so people won’t judge me but hope one day I can be strong and courageous like Mario to be able to share them with other people.
Mario! You asked some questions, and asked to know more about us, the viewers! I am a full time student (studying Psychology) and a Veteran. I served in the Navy. I like music, cross-stitching, and reading about new technology and medical advancements. I also struggle with loving myself, and accepting myself. I have anxiety, insomnia, depression, and I have OCD. Specifically, I have Trichotillomania, which means I pull out my hair in anxiety, as well as bite my nails and cheeks. I struggled with bullying and self-confidence from elementary, and still struggle now. I am always trying to learn more about mental illness, and how to help myself, and maybe one day, I'll help others! I wanted to say I love your hair style! I used to dye my hair the same colors in high school! I think you're a pretty fun person, and I empathize with your bullying experiences. I hope you have found closer friends, and feel more comfortable showing your full self to others!

I can relate to wanting more personal space and feeling nervous around dogs. Maybe part of it is that dogs don't respect personal space. I know you were nervous, but you did a great job in the interview.

I seriously can't believe that there are people bullying him frequently, it disgusts me how much lack of empathy and reason so many people have. But I am glad that platforms like SBSK exist so Mario can see all the good out there.

Hey Mario! I grew up listening to punk and ska. My favorite ska bands are Voodoo Glow Skulls, Baccone Dolce, Mad Caddies, Reel Big Fish, Snuff and Mighty Mighty Boss Tones. Chris, I'm so glad that I found your interviews! We all have our struggles but learning about the REAL struggles of these young (and sometimes older people) certainly puts one's life in perspective. Hopefully, those people, who take the time to watch your interviews, are reinforcing values they already have. Unfortunately, the bad people Mario encounters will never change. He is more normal than he thinks he is. I could barely do a Zoom interview the other day. Hes a good-looking guy. I think so many people messed with him he now has anxiety when he could be chillen. Nervous is a mental condition that can be calmed down. He needs people who aren't immature around him. I would hang out with him.

Mario I feel the same in front of a camera. Your actually way better on camera than me. Unfortunately when it comes to people they often act strange when they don’t understand someone or something. They live under a blanket of insecurity and reflect that onto others. They don’t realize that they can have children or grandchildren with a condition similar to yours or something much more serious. They are the ones with the problem not you. I can relate to how that must make you feel because I’m a mom and I’ve seen my kid get there feelings hurt and it’s the worst. But I say let’s try not to give those people too much power, because they are insignificant in your life. Try to focus on those that actually contribute to your life in a positive way, whether it’s your family, teachers or friends. Trust me there are so many people out there going through the same struggles as you who need a friend, you just have to find them. Your so cool, you have great energy and so much to offer. Don’t ever change the world needs more of what you got.
