Why is Pep on the list? He has made it clear he’s leaving.
So funny with these pundits who don't know about Amorim and therefore just go with de zerbi.😂
While he is the favorite Amorim.😂
de zerbi is being done a disservice by a lot but I'd still like to see more names linked
Stevie seems to be in denial. Alonso has played for Liverpool and Madrid. He has battled Bayern for the league. De Zerbi managed Sassuolo before Brighton and Napoli in 2010 was his biggest club as a player. Remember Potter? Noone even talks about Potter anymore. I remember when he was mentioned as the next big thing by the same panel. Heck Pochettino was pushed to Utd and Madrid every week by these guys when he was at Tottenham. Noone now considers Poch as elite. Stevie was his biggest fan at Tottenham. Would Stevie take Poch in June if he left Chelsea in May?
Amorim is the next Liverpool manager
WE DO NOT WANT DE ZERBI
Ruben Anorim is my shout, might be untested in the prem, but what he has achieved with sporting and the football he plays suits us.
Yep, his stats are the best.
He is now the first choice
Nagelsmannis my pick
@@gergis31 He is not a Manager who can Manage the players
Genuine question, how is he a good fit?
Pep Linders if only he will change his decision. He knows this squad in and out
No, worst thing we want is a Klopp clone. If Klopp is going, might as well change everything
@@eldio2124 how is he a Klopp clone. Don't underestimate his influence of his guidance to Klopp as well. Klopp dismr do this alone
@@eldio2124shut up he is natural successor man???
Isn't good enough. Before he replaced Buvac as the main Assistant Manager, he had a brief but disastrous stint as a Manager in the 2nd division of Dutch football with club called NEC where he failed to get them to promoted to the Eredevisie. Hence why he came back to club in the first place. He needs to be tested again and seems like Ajax are really interested in him.
@ish klopp without pep lin has won
Got mainz promoted
German league
German league
German cup
German cup
Premier league
Champions league
Klopps first number 2 and assisted was much more kown than pep and actually help klopp design his style and was with him much longwr than pep a d when he left to become a manager he was terrible
I bet none of these make it to Anfield… Who had a clue we’d be getting Klopp back in the day? The media and pundits run with whatever rumour they hear. Stevie “ Alonso hasn’t got any experience of managing a club like Liverpool “
Next breath. “I want De Zerbi”…
Clueless
The list should look like this :
Julian Nagelsman
Ruben Amorim
Pep Lijnders (If he's interested)
De Zerbi
I think Flick,Inzaghi,Motta should be added to this list
PEP LIJNDERS! Why is nobody talking about him?
Cos he is confirmed as leaving and probs going ajax
Because he has said he doesn’t want the job…
Amorim
Because he is an assistant and has never ever been a manager
See the state if klopps first assistant as manager?
@@docholiday-lm4vf Ever heard of Bob Paisley?
with Stevie's logic, we might as well recruit back Brendan Rodgers
With that logic Stevie, how is de zerbi anymore qualified with the expectation of managing at a champions league team or a expectation of a winning a league
Who will be new coach of Bayern 😢
Stevie is coping HARD
Funny how Liverpool fans are suddenly saying “probably for the best. He wasn’t ready for a big club yet” 😂
@@u-Dramatic_avocado5867Yes all wanted him but it shouldn't mean disaster
@@u-Dramatic_avocado5867 Funny how United fans care what's happening at Anfield when their team is utter garbage.
@@capri2673 Garbage that knocked Liverpool out the Cup 😂 bye bye Klopp 🙋♂️
@@stephenfisher9451 It’s not a disaster. And I’m sure y’all find a good coach. Just funny to see the cope 😂
Hansi Flick would be worth a shout, however I'd choose Nagelsman
As a Liverpool fan, I would give Lijnders a chance, especially with the slim manager pickings. Asking any manager to fill klop's shoes next season is ridiculous, but Klop did recommend him as his successor and you'd have to think he might have learned a few things under klop's leadership. I also think lijnders would be good for the dressing room and our young players.
Ofcourse as a Liverpool fan , we would love Pep to follow Klopp cause even if he was assistant coach, he knows the mentality of the team in and out ....BUT BUT BUT , he said he is leaving Liverpool and is not interested to be a successor of Klopp 😢
Give it to Pep Lijnders.
Only Klopp can replace Klopp.
Whoever it is that takesover will inherit a good/dangerous squad. Especially if their 3 world class players stay on
What about Varvede Bilbao
Oh Lord, these boys haven't a clue😮
Where is Steven Gerrard?
Amorim will get it.
Are you from the future?
Nagelsmannis should be Liverpool Manager.
It won't be De Zerbi after he publicly criticised Brighton for their lack of spending.
I would be quite worried if i was Pool fan and that was the list of candidates. Klopp was already proven winner having won 2 Bundesligas with Dortmund + CL final. Just look at Ten Hag at Ajax and Poch at Tottenham and the present day. Those guys were considered the next big things before Covid.
I'm not worried. We have a very good history of replacing great Managers aside from Kenny Dalglish in the early 90's. Think of Bob Paisley who turned out to be far better than Bill Shankly ever was.
I just really want to win the league this season because I think our time at the top is over after Klopp goes. If the next manager is good, we'll probably stay a top 4 team, but no more than that.
Nobody can replace klopp but gutted about alonso.. i always felt de zerbi will do well as stevie said klopp has left an exceptional squad, de zerbi is very clever guy with the italian mentally he will feel comfortable with the pressure and having the right players at his disposal who will enjoy playing under him
FSG won't want him because he complained about Brighton's lack of spending.
Lijnders or Amorim end of. Naglesmann is hype, saw his RBL get destroyed by Liverpool a couple of times. Klopp I think is trying to warn the owners off De Zerbi by saying he would never play that style of football. If Brighton get something at Anfield tomorrow though that might make him favourite.
Nagelsman
Gerrard is the perfect replacement of Klopp 😂😂😂😂
I concurr, he would be a great manager for Liverpool
Some of you rival fans are pathetic 😏 rather focus on your own clubs
He will gets Lfc in relegation battle 😆😆
De Zerbi seems like someone who will jump ship as soon as Madrid come calling.
No de zebri, tinker man and thru his chairman under the bus
Guys i was saying de zerbi but amorim is that guy stop sleeping on him get him in now
Alonso made the right choice for his personal development. Hopefully he will become the next biggest thing in the business. Whenever he anyone rejected LFC, the team always turnout okay
Nagelsmann is my pick
Best coach out of the list
Imo, the best coach isn't even on the list: Hansi Flick
Think Alonso's done exactly the right thing, done a brilliant job at Leverkusen this year but needs to complete his apprenticeship before moving to the pressure cooker of managing a club like Liverpool or Real Madrid!!
Bet you thought he was ready 2 days ago 😂😂
don't ever put Loserpool in same sentence as Real Madrid
Liverpool would be a mid table team with any of those managers!!!!
Who do you suggest?
@@stephenfisher9451 There isn’t many options out there that would fit LFC style.
@@mariomiera1931 Nagelsmann is adaptable infact he sometimes changes things too often
If klopp want to stay one more year. I can accept that.
Alonso will be the next Real Madrid manager and will be world class. De Zerbi isnt nowhere near him. Stevie is just coping that this is the start of a Liverpool downfall
Oh yes, as if you can you can see the future 😏
How is de Zerbi better than Ruben Amorim?
Xabi alonso is clearly better than de zorbi. De zorbi isn't bad choice though, but xabi is better. Xabi would have been coming off from Bundesliga and possibly europa league. Now the experience of winning some trophies is definitely gonna help. I don't think de zerbi has won any trophy. Remember people were appreciating graham potter too before his chelsea move. But I think Liverpool are better than chelsea right now and de zerbi could succeed given enough time. Sad for xabi as it would have been better opportunity for him than leverkusen. He could have managed liverpool for 4-5 season and then gone to Real madrid. He would have more credibility by then. Let's see how many of the Leverkusen player remain at club next season because that is what gonna determine their performance next season.
Brendon Roger’s 2nd coming
Steve is speaking outta pain as though he never wanted Xabi at Liverpool.
sam allardyce is available 😅
😂😂😂...finally someone 😂
This segment just shows a lack of knowledge of so called experts beyond the people in the EPL. Doesn’t take much searching to see why Amorim is at the shortest odds. He’s got more titles and bigger sample size than most on the list including alonso before he was ruled out
Preferably Nagelsmann, much much suitable 👌🏼😁
Gareth Southgate.. Gareth Southgate.. Gareth Southgate.. Gareth Southgate.. Gareth Southgate.. or Sam Allardyce
Yes, waiting to replace ten hag
Lol its amateur hour on ESPN. They know nothing about managers who's don't manage in the prem. Amor in, has a very better proven record and closer to klopp and Alonso than de zerbi would be.
when is ManUnited they are pushing for Southgate because he is “good” now that Liverpool needs a manager Southgate is not mentioned. Hilarious how this pundits push negativity and want ManUnited to fail no matter what
Ratcliff knows Southgate and Potter and has mentioned his relationship and respect for both of them. Liverpool has mentioned they want someone who is tactically simular to Klopp.
@@GreenHarpFinancialDan Ashworth also knows them both too.
Obviously because Southgate is ok for a midtable club, not a top club, lol. Ie; they are dissing Utd, as I just did. 😅
Jose...
Big Sam alladyce is available for work
Lijnders would be my first choice now ,,,,inzagi 2nd ,,,,de zerbi ,,,,,zidane
😢😢😢😢
Southgate!!!!
Gareth Southgate 😂😂😂 if he is good enough for u ited he is good enough for liverpool
If he's good enough for a team battling for 6th, he's good enough for a team battling for 1st - that's your comment? 😅
@@TerribleEnglish United is the biggest club in england Liverpool is a close second. If the media wanted him to come to united going to liverpool should not be a stretch

If Celta Vigo would agree a compensation package - I’d be happy for Rafa Benitez to come back.
The guy has won everything including: 2 LaLiga, 1 UCL, 2 Europa Leagues, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Italian Cup, 2 Italian Supercups, 1 FA cup, 1 UEFA Supercup, 1 EFL Championship.
Guy knows how to do well in different forms of competition and he is a crowd favourite.
Barca want Amorim
They can't afford to his pay his release clause.
Barca are linked with Nagelsmann also and they will have one so I'd be fine with the other one
Jamie Carragher
What if xavi ❤

Nagelsmann has Barca written all over him..His destiny lies with the Catalan Kings 💙❤️🐐🤘
I thought that's why Tuchel is going?
They can't afford to pay him
They can't afford him genuis. Why else do you think Rafa Marquez has been the firm favourite since Xavi announced he would step down.

I’m surprised there’s no Southgate link.
This clowns push for Southgate to United but when is the other way around they dont mention him
@@gustavocabreraviloria5527That's because whether you like it or not there is a legitimate link to Southgate through Dan Ashworth. With Liverpool there is no link whatsoever to him. Simple as that.
Imagine Alonso stays at Leverkusen and then comes to Premier League 2025 summer to take over Manchester City from Pep. How would Liverpool fans feel about it?
Random take. I don't think Leverkusen fans could care two flying ducks what Alonso does after a successful tenure with them. Let alone if it's Mancity.
@@MemoTea
That's very right. But I am sure Liverpool fans would hate him to death for snubbing a team he had played for and go to their Premier League rival.
No self respecting manager will want to manage liverpool right now, why would anyone want to take over from klopp for only to find out they have to take on pep (best manager in the workd) biggest wage and transfer pot, 115 charges (soon to be 116)
Alonso will not want to manage a League One team in 2025.
