how to restore a golf mk1 black bumper

restoring a golf 1 bumper using common tools. This is the only process that helped restore my bumper as i have already tried silicon, restoring liquids, etc. was fun creating this video as it is my first time attempting editing. please like share and subcribe

How do you restore the chrome part of the bumper

I've tried the cheap way which involves just spraying it with chrome can spray, but that didn't help much. Was a noticeable difference between the original and sprayed. If you want it properly done then have it chrome dipped (provided that the strips are not chipped and broken) this should bring it close to original state

Last year i had it priced by a shop called chrome it (think its known as crc coatings now). Told them that i wanted all my trimmings coated. That was for all four bumper trimmings and well as window trims. Think the quote was about R1300 at the time. Which isn't that bad
