After my husband passed 13 years ago, I did self-inflicted therapy that led me to Jeff Cavins. I had listened to this CD way back then and it impressed me so deeply I passed it on to others. I was blessed with a yearning to grow spiritually and Jeffs talks were most inspiring. Recently I was confronted with people who say they " use to be Catholic but now they are Christian" . I returned to search for this talk and I am so happy I found it. It is a gem in path of evangelization.
As someone going through RCIA, I too yearn for the Eucharist. Raised up in the Methodist church, it all sounded good, but when I started asking the hard questions, I ran into hollow trees, gonging against my rapping knocks. When I saw nothing was there, I went back to the beginning and found the Truth right where he left it: in the Catholic Church. When someone says, "Come to Jesus", I now point at the tabernacle because he is literally right there. It's not ethereal; it's not mystical without substance. Jesus Christ came down to put substance to God's essence and being, an efficacious symbol to His sheep. 'Efficacious' is the word that brought me to the Catholic Church.

Fake Jews in Taxis
I'm not being 'fed' at all. And with the continued revelations of homosexual predators in the ranks of Cardinals, Bishops and priests it is emotionally difficult to stay in the Catholic Church.
The church has sinners in every rank....from the clergy down to the members.its not the church that's bad...we need to always work to reform...but that happens from within....not by running away...
Never turn from Jesus because of Judas. Otherwise you are pleasing satan, not God.
Heartbreaking that you do not realize that in receiving Jesus you are being fed with God Himself.
