Say bye to these 380s their not going to have their leases renewed. Gonna be a lot of these parked soon .Thank heavens. Clogging up airports, long load and deplaning times, special tow equipment clobbering runways on landings. Patience has been taxed with these guppies. Qatar Quantas Hong Kong and Emerates are all canceling orders. Amazon might buy them. Haul packaging
Well SIA just committed to them long term, for 12 refitted a380s. The rest of the grounded planes makes a huge stockpile of cheaper spare parts for decades to come
Singapore Airlines has abandoned and returned all of its fleet of A380s from its lessor last year. The airline just suffered US3.2 billion losses due to pandemic. It can't compete with Emirates with its fleet of more than 100 A380s.
