The top of your hair is lighter bc it’s closer to the scalp and it gets hotter at the root it is called hot roots it worked in your favor since u like that look but for it to be an even color start away from the scalp first then after the whole hair is finished go back and do roots
Ninfa Castro thank you for saying this. I’ve experimented with color for a while but that was years ago. I’m watching tutorials to find out the best way and I hate that no one mentions starting at the root will give hot roots. I was wondering if you should do the whole head first then go back and do the roots & you clarified

Yup I used box hair dye thinking it wasn't as harmful as bleach and my hair broke off. I'm sticking to rinses for now on 🤣🤣

I read that the peroxide in the developer you used to dye your hair is literally the same as if you were using bleach in your hair. Has there been any effects with using this in your hair? Any damage or anything like that .

Try to negotiate, just ask if u can get highlights (like splotches of a certain color all over your head) or if u can just dye the tips. And ask for a really dramatic color like neon green (she will say no) then give a second simpler option such as a light brown so that the second option won't seem as bad when compared to the green. A little tactic I picked up on💀💀

I use it on my weaves and it bleeds every time i wash it or it gets wet.
Do a quick wash than use cold water right after and rise it out use cold water dont use hot water

Hi, I tried this tip today. My hair is currently black and I bought two boxes of intense red from garner olia. I tried for 55min...i just wash it off... It didn't work at all. The hair is still dark black. In addition is extremely dry due the ink even though no colour result was achieved. 😞😞😞😞... No keep moisturising and forget the colour for now. Hair is already pretty bad after this attempt.
Did you use the developer in the box or 40 separate? The one in the box is only 20. And yes, all of this has a potential to damage hair, so I would try a deep conditioner or mask. I hope things get better!!
@@MzBrit2005 I used everything as in the box... After that I was reading and according most articles I found it is not possible to lighting a black hair with another dye... I just put my hair extremely dry.
