The ‘Norwegian Epic’ is an interesting example (the second biggest class of ship in the world when she entered service in 2010): As you can see from the image above, there is not even much of a sea view from her promenade deck. It is purely designed for lifeboat access.
Epic has a central Atrium, with a very large video screen as its centrepiece, but very few windows. Ironically this screen often shows views of beautiful landscapes around the world. Passengers often sit, relax and watch it. On this ship, ‘virtual reality’ obviously takes precedent over the natural beauty of the seas and any land outside the ship. NCL’s innovative ‘Breakaway’ and ‘Breakaway+’ class ship improve upon ‘Epic’s’ somewhat internally focussed design. Both classes have a large promenade deck, lined with restaurant and bars etc. called ‘The Waterfront’.

Oscar's exuberance is infectious. So fun to remember how it was to see the world through hungry eyes. He obviously basks in the loving attention of his uncles and the memories for him will be lifelong.

I live in CA and have cruised the Mexican Riviera and Ensenada is not the greatest port or representative of some great experiences in other Mexican ports. Thank you for an entertaining Vlog.

Another GREAT video. The Mexican Riviera is beautiful. We just cruised the 'Rivera Solstice in December and it was awesome. Ensenada? Eh, as an American we know that is not a Port we want to stop at. If your viewers do the longer 7-8 night cruise to the 'Riviera the ports of MAZATLÁN and PUERTO VALLARTA are awesome beautiful ports. Do not miss these!

The Bliss was with us in Colombia and also in the Panama Canal nearly 2 weeks ago with us. We were on HAL Eurodam and entered the Old locks and the Bliss was in the New locks. I am very envious of Oscar's Wonder Woman Mickey Mouse hat. I need one of those in my life 😁

We were on the Bliss over New Years! Two of our three cabins on Deck 8 very close to the brewhouse and my cabin was 9178 (also a massive balcony)! So close to finally running into you two on a ship, we were just a bit early. It is great hearing what you thought of the Bliss, it was a good bit different than the RCL ship which are my usual ships.
We made good use of the spa and I am very spoiled now. :)

Omg I love the family videos. I watched the whole video on my husband's account. Idk if we had a different port in ensenada or what but we were dropped off on a boardwalk and it was so beautiful. Yes we had people trying to get you buy things left and right but I politely said no thank you with a smile and they left us alone. Also I love how body positive Norwegian is. Their entertainer's are not all skin and bones but all so beautiful. We are going on prima next month and it's our second Norwegian cruise and we are so excited!!!

I've been on dozens of NCL cruises and the Bliss is by far my favourite Norwegian ship. It's really the Breakaway+ class ship where they finally got everything right. Super fun video BTW guys!

The cafe remembering your name is always a good thing! Last time I was on Radiance of the seas they had the best staff ever, remembered name, order and if you were inline and they saw you by the time you got to the till or seconds after your coffee would be ready, I have never had that kind of service so I tipped the team $100 just before I disembarked! Oscar is such a sassy boy, I love it!
