Thanks for the video series (it was like reliving our June cruise on Radiance OTS), and thanks for the review of the ship! That truly makes me want to sail the Bliss. I'd feel the same way you did about the whole "no locker, no signage" situation for the go-carts, and I agree - too costly!! Jason, the shirt Alisa found for you looks great! She knows you well! LOL! Thanks for all your NCL Bliss videos. After our 2020 Alaskan cruise on NCL Joy was canceled, we've now booked the Bliss for 2022 and got one of those front Oceanview rooms that are the size of a suite, sleeps 5, and has the bathtub and double sinks. We're pumped! We scored $500 OBC too, so we'll be doing some nice spa time as well. Y'all are really great to watch. 😊
Loved these videos. We are booked on a 21 day repo cruise in April from NYC to Seattle on that ship. Can't wait! Really looking forward to the observation lounge, looks like a great place to read the Kindle when the weather is not good.

Your videos for this Alaska trip were wonderful. My husband and I have experienced the Alaska cruise twice just because it is so awesome. It was fun seeing your reactions - like kids in Disneyland! I love the detail of your days, especially your dining experiences - my favorite part. I am going on the Joy in 2 days for the Mexican Riviera cruise - can’t wait! If you go to Alaska again, be sure to try the salmon bake & Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. I agree with your comments about Victoria. Our ship got in at 7:00 pm as well and all the best shops were closed as well.

Great video. My husband and I are going on the Bliss in June for our 25th Anniversary. I did a google search for cruises and your videos came up, seen quite a few. Then found the Alaska cruise. Watching your videos to see what we can expect on our cruise.

I just got back last month on the NCL Bliss to the Mexican Riviera. I loved the ship and the stops in Mexico are awesome too. I highly recommend this trip to everyone.

Just from seeing your videos on Norwegian ships, I'm pretty impressed with this line. And the Bliss looks pretty amazing. That Beatles show would be a must for me and I'd love to see "Jersey Boys." The restaurants looked pretty good, too. I definitely need to try Le Bistro and Los Lobos.

I am glad that I found you guys because I looked for weeks to find a ship cruise for my mother and father for there 45th wedding anniversary and watching your blog on the bliss I cant wait to go next September 20 - 27 because it will be are first cruise and I can't wait. Saved for 2 years so my parent's can go on there dream vacation for there 45 wedding anniversary thanks to you guys it made it easier for me go with NCL thanks guy and Jason liked the new hair do

Joining the love Jason's haircut club. My very first cruise was to Alaska and I was hooked from there. Have been on the Bliss twice and really love that ship. Just got off the Getaway Sunday (4th time on her) and I think you will enjoy it...I like it better than the Breakaway, even though they are almost identical. Oh, and I went to Deanie's on your recommendation and it was awesome. Thanks for the vlogs.

I went on the ship right after you guys on the Pacific Coastal Cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles. It was a really fun ship even starting off bad in Vancouver. We had a great go kart experience. There wasnt any stop or going and we went pretty quick throughout the whole time. I am excited to do Alaska Ocrt 2021 on the Encore. Thanks for the review.

Years ago my husband and I had sworn off of Norwegian but because of y’all we’re going to give them another try. In June of 2021, we’re going on the Norwegian Encore to Alaska. We can’t wait!!!

We were on the Bliss last May. I loved the observation deck and the specialty dining...also LOVED Jersey Boys! I think you got to see more wildlife in November than we did in May! Probably an advantage that it was colder when you went! We missed out on the Beatles...makes me really sad! Glad you had a great time! Love to you both!
Love the ship. Our favorite thing about it is the observation lounge.
Also love the service at the cellars wine bar. The decanted a few special high-end wines for us for dinners.... and have some great chats with the sommelier.
hey guys, loved your videos from the cruise. the next time you cruise to Alaska take the one that ends in Seward , they put you on the train that comes to Fairbanks ( the golden heart of Alaska) and you fly home from there . beautiful scenery with a stop at Denali park .

Excellent video.... we are planning an Alaskan cruise with NCL. What you have shared is helping. We are looking at a balcony room, including a trip to glacier bay, and of course THE Food! Your review of the shows are also helpful..... We are Royal Caribbean cruisers but are excited to try NCL. Thank you ever so.
I just returned from my 2 week Western Caribbean Cruise on the Bliss!! I've been on 2 previous cruises in the past and I can say this was one of the best cruises and cruise ships I've ever been on. The crew was excellent, the weather was good and there was always things to do on the ship.
One of my favorite bars on the ship was the Observation Lounge on Deck 15. Very relaxing and for the most part not too crowded especially on port days. By the 3rd day of the cruise the bartenders there already remembered my name. There are plenty of seating options there weather you wanna sit at the bar or in one of the lounge chairs. They also had excellent food there which was nice when I didn't wanna go to the Garden Cafe.
One must thing to do is check out the waterfront on Deck 8. Not many people out there so there is usually always seating. I spent many nights on the Waterfront just relaxing and enjoying a few drinks. Very peaceful out there.
I also enjoyed using the Hot Tubs on Deck 17. (Above the pool deck.) The best times to use them were on Port Days. You could usually find one not full on those days.
I went and saw the Racetrack but never wanted to go on it. Just not my thing. Similarly I didn't go to see the LazerTag. Just not my interest.
The Cabin Steward was excellent and new our names the very first time we met him on Embarkation Day. He was always quick to make up the room when we requested it and did a great job.
We ate a 4 specialty dining restaurants: Ocean Blue, Cagney's steakhouse, The Q and Teppanyaki's. The food at all the restaurants were excellent. My favorite was Cagney's Steakhouse the New York Strip was excellent. I also really enjoyed Teppanyaki's and watching the chief cook the food right in front of us. Very entertaining!
I highly recommend this ship and hope to go again soon.

Sounds like a great time. I enjoyed watching this series. I don’t get the go kart either...and the up charge. We have been on RCL many times and IMO no other line can beat their included things .... such as Flowrider and iFly. They are still the line to beat for us....and so far no one has.
Went on RCL Allure of the Seas Nov 14-21,2021 and NCL Bliss Dec 19-26, 2021. Love to cruise and enjoyed both cruises. RCL is far above in service, food , entertainment and activities.
I see you both got a little trim, and you both look very nice. I don't know about Jason's little flippy thing in the front, but that might be my old lady coming out, lol! So glad to hear the family had fun on the Alaska cruise. It's definitely on my bucket list. Love you guys, 😘

I have watched all of your videos and you guys are awesome. Going on the Bliss 1/19/20 and can’t wait!!! Fun fact my Dad grew up in Liverpool and he watched The Beatles before they were The Beatles.........Later on I married and my husband he knew Aerosmith before they got big........ played multiple games of pool with them and watched them play in venues that were literally a hole in wall!!!

Thanks for sharing this cruise with us! We are cruising to Alaska for the first time on May 2020, on the Star Princess. While I do wish we would’ve booked our cruise on the NCL Bliss because you guys made the ship look so cool!, our previously excellent experience cruising with Princess cruises doesn’t make us entirely regretful of our ship choice. And Jason’s haircut is so stylin’ and awesome! If you guys ever cruise the Mediterranean or Panama Canal, I will be veeerrryyyyy interested! Those destinations are our goal cruises!
I think Star Princess was the ship in port with us in Victoria, if so, she is a beautiful ship! I have heard nothing but good about Princess, so I am sure you will love it. We are actually flying to Greece on Friday for a Mediterranean cruise so stay posted for those videos!!

We rode the go carts and enjoyed it very much. Agree with the locker situation, it would be so easy for them to tell you when you book.

We have done two Alaskan cruises. One on the bliss and one on a smaller ship. My thought is with the bigger ships you’re not able to get as close to the glaciers which is one of the highlights of the trip. The go carts take up too much of the deck so there’s not as much outside observation for an Alaskan trip.
I loved this review -- so thorough and true! Here is my "hack" for Los Lobos. Instead of using a dining plan for Los Lobos, just pay a la carte for a bunch of appetizers (nicely priced) and forget about the entrees and just feast on those! Use that dining plan for an extra night in Le Bistro or another one! :) Nice review!!
We thought about this also after we ate there! Same for Food Republic.

I am off on the Norwegian Bliss at the end of next week from Los Angeles to Miami so doing one of my bucket list items the Panama Canal. So I found your comments interesting and helpful. Looking forward to it. I've sailed many times with NCL.
When I was on the Norwegian Getaway they also didn't sell drinks at the show so I bought a bottle of Bacardi rum and a bucket of Sierra Mist and ice and the three of us had enough to drink throughout the show. Though we made a little noise every time we opened up a new can of Sierra Mist.
Found your channel doing research for our Bliss cruise from NYC in March 2020. So glad I found you guys! I've been binge watching past episodes ever since. Even enjoyed your Crawfish boils! Now if Jason would just reveal his chicken wing recipe...........

thanks for your great review! I was surprised u said the Garden cafe closes at 9, then theres only the local, but dinner is served till 9:30pm and then till 11:30pm there are snacks for those that r still hungry.
