Again, this video makes perfect sense and gives me something to work on. I'm so apprehensive about hitting the ball in the first place. My drive is the weakest part of my game and it's holding me back right now.

Great video Steve. Nice visual and feel with this. What sort of difference in distance did you notice with the shortened follow through?
Very little drop off if any. I find trying to shorten the swing actually increases the hand speed through impact. If you stab a putt by rapidly slowing the hands through impact the putter head speeds up…..similar👍

Stevie, love the vids but a few suggestions:
You need to have a shot tracer. This isn't 10 years ago. This brings validity to what you're teaching as well as the Scottish accent.
Maybe, try an indoor simulator.

Thanks you’ll notice almost all of my videos have shot tracer. This one doesn’t as I really wanted to focus on a position rather than an outcome🤷♂️
Keen to try that post impact position. Unfortunately 35C for a couple of days here in Aus. Also I thought i had heard what every part of the body should do through the swing, now its my ear I have to think of :) what next? Thanks your vids are always valuable.

It would have been nice to have a shot trace of your shots to see exactly the flight of the ball.
Wanted to focus on post impact position rather than the outcome
“Driver is the most difficult” and yet many people suffer with three putts! Wish you had shown where your club was after the shots to prove your theory. Have you had feedback about the timer counting onscreen👎.
