The scene where the old lady helps the red haired girl always gets me. I remember being afraid of growing up as a kid. I was also surrounded with a lot of middle aged and senior women growing up. They always made living in those eras of life so cool to me. They definitely helped me go through changes I didn’t necessarily want to go through at first.

I watch this at least once every couple months. What I always think about is that I’m old enough to understand that there’s a deeper meaning to this video, but young enough to not have figured out exactly what that meaning is.
Someday, I’ll understand. Just like the others do. But for now, I’m just appreciating the fact that I know it has a deeper meaning, the beautiful animation, and the story.
