Making Almond Soap with Oatmeal and Cocoa Powder (recipe included)

In this video, I’m making a yummy Almond scented soap with colloidal oatmeal and cocoa powder.

Recipe:
Olive Oil 25%
Palm Oil 15%
Coconut Oil 20%
Lard Manteca 18%
Cocoa Butter 5%
Shea Butter 10%
Sweet Almond Oil 2%
Castor Oil 5%
SF: 5%
I soap at 90 degrees F with a 1.7:1 Water Discount
********IMPORTANT: Please run this recipe through a soap calculator for your batch size. This will give you your water/lye ratio once you input your desired ratio and batch size. You can also adjust your hard to soft oil ratio to meet your preferences. ******
Additives:
Table Salt 1.5Tbsp for my 5000g batch & Granulated Sugar 1Tbsp for my 5000g batch to Lye Water. Adjust as needed for your batch size and preference.
The Salt allows you to unmold very quickly - 5-6 hours. The sugar gives your soap more bubbles.
Fragrance: I am using Almond for
Bramble Berry
Colors:
Touch of Cocoa Powder for Lower Layer
Titanium Dioxide: 1tsp mixed with oil
Mica: Mad Micas True Red Blend for Mica line and top drizzle
I CPOP most of my soaps (Cold Process Oven Process)
This forces gel and allows me to unmold faster, especially with the addition of salt to my lye water.
I place my soap in a preheated 170degree F oven that has been turned off. I usually keep it in for a couple of hours and then remove to cool off on the counter.
