A ex boyfriend of mine was really bad at gifts when we started dating,
He gave me a used bra 😰 , music vochers for a music shop that had been out of business for two years , a fake cell phone for a shop display .
Household appliances...an iron for my birthday ; a four slice toaster for Christmas; electric knife for Mother's day; thank heavens for Valentine's day, a small box of chocolates (to be shared among the 7 of us)...this went on for years until one year at Christmas time I gave my husband a list of 25 personal items for him to choose one from, you guessed it...on Christmas morning I had a stack of 25 presents!!!
I received a blender for an anniversary gift. It was the last appliance I received for an anniversary! Did not go over well. 😁
It is nice to see William just chatting with the guys. Casual and chilled. Certainly not snobbish.

B4 he is King, not ready yet, more training needed bless him his father's been in training over 70yrs, that's how much knowledge is needed to do this job, & they will both need God's help to do it, just like her Majesty, she was anointed by God, & both father & son will be too, this is why the Queen has been on the throne so long, she made God a promise & the people, that she would serve till the end of her life so that's why she will not abdicate, unless of course something drastic happens, it won't because God's hand is upon her. Praise God!

I guess when you’re talking to people you don’t know well or strangers, it feels more natural to say your wife and In better taste than just assuming everyone should just know your family, even though everyone does obviously know who they are.

William is just like one of the lads, seems very down to earth, and you can tell the guys enjoyed his company. Prince William will make a fine king one day with Catherine by his side and his lovely children.

Pretty ambivalent towards the royal family, but it’s impossible not like like Wills. Always has come across like a nice bloke, and you can tell it’s not from a place of trying to be false. And given some of the utter weirdos in his family currently, I’d say that’s a pretty big achievement.
Well done to Crouchy and co for making him feel at ease doing this, this could have been an awkward one for both the listener and him, but you can tell he genuinely enjoyed doing this with them. 👏🏻

I am Aussie and I voted for us to ditch the monarch as head of state in a referendum in the 90's. But this guy has me all confused. He is really nice and down to earth. He is an amazing ambassador for the Commonwealth. I never saw myself having a change of heart, but maybe I am.

I’m Canadian and I support the monarchy.. having a constitutional monarchy gives our government a real sense of stability in comparison to the political mess that is is the United States

Love the way the royals are adapting to stay relevant, im not by any means anti royal, but the way William has opened himself to the lower/middle classes so freely and comfortably is vital the way things are going politically. The power they have to shine light on certain subjects is unbelievable, ill never forget the mental health documentary William, Harry and Kate for the BBC, they effectively got the whole country talking about real less spoken about issues in a half hour program. I mean, who could be against that?

People, (especially Americans) misunderstand the monarchy. They might have a lot of money and live in a fancy house, but their role is and has always been, primarily, about public service to the nation. The institution has always evolved and adapted to fit the Britain of the day and to stay relevant.

I like William. He has always seemed so much more approachable than any of his family except the Queen. I hope to see more podcast of the Prince of Wales.
It is called "The Peter Crouch Podcast" and with such an unusual guest, it is for Peter to set the tone. This was a totally relaxed chat between four guys where it is clear that William is thoroughly enjoying himself. Peter is a very likeable guy and what comes across is that he and William enjoy more than a passing acquaintanceship. Respect to Peter for not blabbing to the press about it.
He’s a gentleman at all times, but he has never appeared snobbish, instead genuinely interested in people and talking to them.
This is a great interview! He seems laid back and easy to talk to. Very charismatic. Sounds like he got a lot of his personality traits from his Mother ☺️

I think Charles felt that way and with Diana’s death he had to refocus his energies and become the father his sons always needed, but he didn’t feel necessary.

This is WHY the Monarchy is safe for many years to come.
Yes Diana wanted both her boy's to know how other people lived, what "normal life" is like but let's not forget both Prince Charles & The Queen had to give their consent to it.
Sadly Harry doesn't want to be "normal" in anyway but with William, sitting comfortably, openly sharing these parts of his life without any airs or graces I think we can see what a great idea Diana set in place.

The reason I think William is happy, cause he likes to live in a close family like the royals are and he enjoys following certain rules by heart.

When I married my second husband, I told him that for any occasion that he wished to gift me....birthday, Christmas, anniversary., etc. ....one rose would be a perfect gift.

Thank goodness William turned out so normal. He nails interpersonal conversations every time! The same can't be said about Harry, however...
Harry is fine and so is William whatever they decide to do, but they are on different paths and that is okay. Tomorrow is another day so we all just move with the times in this big all world. They are breathing for a start that is something to be thankful for and they can both use their positions to do good in whatever way they choose as long as they are happy. To offer the best service you need to feel your best most of the time if not all.
