Thanks for this. Very disconcerting that the only other video is a 12y old official video of the W-leg one where they haven't bothered levelling the thing so the balls roll off really badly!
No problem, that's why I shared this. It gives you some idea of how it plays. I really like it. For a 5 ft table it's prob one of the best or at least better ones out there. I had to get 5ft due to restrictions unfortunately :(
The balls don't roll as far as a normal pool table, but I guess that's always going to be a difference between wooden tables and slate. Or is it a thinker cloth to make it more robust for home use?
@@mjby100 I think it's a combination of the both, tbh. The wood may not be such a perfect surface as slate would be, and have slightly more resistance with balls. Also yes I think the cloth may have slightly more of a fuzz to it than a pub table, as a result that'll slow the roll. Theres always compromises with things. I play on pub tables regular, and even the balls there can influence how much roll is played with shots, when tournaments are played they bring out the comp balls, and it's like playing on a different table. What you have to remember is this is a table for fun at home. You can still play serious shots on it and get great practise in, and a lot of it will translate to a better table, and obviously it's a lot easier to own than having the space for a real table.
Great video. I want to do as you have and put it over a coffee table. Do you know the gap between the legs. I am looking at the 6 by 3 one and it needs to go over a large 5 by 4 coffee table. Wondering if 6 inches either side would be enough? Can you let me know the gap between the legs lengthways please? How wide are the legs? Can't find the answer anywhere and I can pro rata it. If you can help great. Son is desperate for a table. Many thanks
This is the 5ft version, so dimensions will be different. Legs are 4.5 inches thick at the thickest point on mine. Cant tell the distance it's folded now, but it wouldn't be relevant anyway, it's a different size to what you are looking at. The coffee table mine is covering here are 42 inches. Hope this helps.
Looking at grabbing a home table and also has to be folding. I been looking at liberty games site or Bce Riley. Not sure which to go with. Would be the 6ft, is the thickness of the mdf important from 12mm to 18? Also like the look of the ones with the table tennis top
I'm not sure let us know if you find out. If I had the room the a 6 ft think I'd look at the Liberty Games, I really like the look of their multiple use tables. Think it looks like an upgrade from these. This isnt a bad table though. Obviously the LB Games tables cost a bit more.
Yeah, exactly as you say, it does feel slow to play on compared to a slate bed table. It’s not a bad table other than that, but I’m not sure if there's many wood top tables that play much better. It doesn’t help that perhaps the fleece on the cloth is a little more dense feeling than a proper table which does deaden things perhaps more than it should. But it also makes a decent desk / table with the top as well, and there’s the mini table tennis feature. You can have hours of fun on it still playing pool, and get some practice in for fundamentals, even if it’s perhaps not to competition standards. And of course it folds down to practical nothing to store. It’s all compromises I guess with things like this 😕
I’m still in two minds , it’s the roll of them balls , stopping suddenly and that mdf bed and crap cloth , I think I might have to go the full hog and get a slate table , preferably a prince uk table tried and tested table ! I suppose it’s time to clean the basement out and do this properly , I really can see myself being upset playing on MDF and my Brothers will never forgive me lol , a second hand table that requires work even cloth and cushion changes is not a problem , championship cloth all round changing rails etc not rocket science! Moving and transporting it will be the only hassle really , ex pub table are the best and I’m Actively searching !
@@zayaanzayaan9684 Yeah it will be better, as you say, it's just the hassle of moving it and setting up. You'd prob buy a second hand pub table for the less than this new anyway. If I had the space and didnt have to store stuff, as well as have the resources to move a heavy real table, I would have had one. Of course, this has none of that hassle and is easier to live with. You pays your money you takes your choice.
Hopefully I find a decent table locally , prices for secondhand ones are low and if your lucky get one that has already been refurbished , if need be replace the cloth with top of the range cloth and cushions etc , need to find the light shade too ! Wish me luck 😂
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Helped me greatly when buying my table 👍

where are you buy it?.can you give me a link for the pool?
Ive come from your amazon review. Cant seem to find if it comes with the balls and cues?
It does, the ones in the video here.
About to pull the trigger on the 6ft model, how do you level it? The feet look flat at a glance and the website doesn't say
Very small height adjustable screws on each leg. It doesn't look like they are there but you adjust each to level.
Cheers buddy

Thanks very much for the vid. Are you still happy with it? I wondered how easy it is to fold away and move on your own?
Not easy, it's heavy, but it makes it better to play on. It's fine for what it is, it's a really fun table to use.
Dead cushions dead cloth

Looks awful to play on
Who would ever own a 5ft pool table!😂😂 That table is trash, the balls barely roll. That shorty cue is laughable!
