"Close to You" by Burt Bacharach - Carolyn Hagler, cello.

I grew up listening to Burt Bacharach tunes in the 70's. I loved his music. It was the end of the era when he passed away this last February, 2023. I wanted to record one of his pieces as a tribute to him and his rich legacy.
This piece was one of my favorites and it was recorded by the Carpenters in 1970. I added the (classic 70's) words to the song penned by Hal David.
