My god if you have to get that close with the device to find a camera, u might as well not have it. I could see that camera with my own eyes just walking around
True but sometimes hidden cameras are well hidden like inside paintings etc
Start:
1. Room by room… Split EACH room into quadrants. Stand in the center of the room and visually scan the room 1 quadrant at a time from ceiling to floor. Look for anything that looks out of place or suspicious. Ex. (2 smoke detectors, 2 clocks, 2 coffee makers and small holes in the walls etc).
2. Check ALL appliances or ANY device that is plugged into an electrical outlet. TV, Phone, Hair Dryer, Coffee Maker and Lamps (Video and Audio recording devices require constant power) Some devices will be battery operated with motion sensors… so no guarantees.
3. Check all electrical outlets (do any outlets look different than the others?) Do any of the outlets have a plug in them and can you trace where that plug goes to?
4. Check mirrors… place your finger against the mirror, you should see a ¼ - ½ inch gap in between. If it appears that your finger touches then it could be a two way mirror. Shut off the lights in the room and use a flashlight to scan the mirror for anything behind it.
5. Visually inspect all art work on the walls closely.
Now use the detector on your suspicious area's.

Wifi router makes any camera work from remotely. How can they hack into your WhatsApp account?@@mombnumb

The flashlight is to see the blueish tint reflecting on cameras you can't see.

The camera lens light works better when it’s in the flashing mode as well! And it just flares the lens. It will pic up good conductors too so that can be a bit misleading

To be honest this is not a good review… you had to be right next to the camera for it to detect it… Not really effective.
This is a cheap electronic device to help you detect. I'm sure there are way more expensive detectors out there.

It's the camera picking it up, not the naked eye.
Useless device...Can't see cameras through the glass...Beeps at everything, even if there is nothing...Magnet search doesn't work when the antenna is extended, and if the antenna is folded, it detects a magnet with three millimetres...Waste of money....
