I actually have one of these detectors and it’s just a RF detector which pretty much can pick up all types of radio frequencies and metal, and when you spot a camera the flash does NOT get faster, it’s a button that YOU press to make the flash faster, pay attention to his hands. Is it worth getting? Absolutely not.

The OP is demonstrating poorly. The infrared needs to be ON, and you have to see through the red lens to spot the hidden camera.

How can you find out if a neighbour has a listening device that's eavesdropping into the home? Can that be done without inserting a bug directly into your home? So you find out that is happening what can you do about it?
I know someone who lived in a duplex and they both used baby monitors. I'm not sure what the range is for that but if you're both tuned into the same frequency, the audio comes through clear as a bell. If you can hear them, they can also hear you.

Great video, but that’s not what those LED lights do. Those LED lights trigger infrared, and then you’re supposed to used that peep hole on the device to see the infrared lasers (which are typically invisible to the human eye) to find hidden cameras.
Yeah you can also tell that hes manually adjusting the speed of that blinking light once he realizes that oh shit I forgot to I forgot to adjust it while I was saying that I was saying that so at 1st you can see that it's not changing speed at all until he does it over again but then after he shows it's speeding up as he is moving away from the camera once again he forgets to adjust and it stays at the same rate

those cheap devices are detectors not finders. the odds of finding a rf device over wifi signals are slim to none.

I believe my apt I moved into is bugged and wire tapped also being that it’s a completely remodeled unit with all new appliances. I have also been heading a chirping noise coming from the ceiling which I am lead to believe are the buggs hardwired into the ceiling lights. I’m a 31 year old female who lives alone. Hi! If you feel this I would suggest not talking loud unless you can play Tv or podcast with people talking in the backgroubd. . I felt this way with my nextdoor apt, neighbor, i found a fake phone call video/ channel and played it in the background. Use a static sound machine and white noise YT video in the background, it vibrates the air. Turn on and leave things that hum, like your stove and bathroom vents, any air vent fans, dont turn them off, If you can buy the same new smoke detectors and swap them back after you move out. They will think it's malfuctioning. If you really need to know, bring their smoke alarms to an electrician or repair man to inspect or the owner of the channel to inspect? Plan to move! I found this house, its old on church property. Its the most private house i could find as far as neighbors, house distance without living on an acre of land and owning it. Also turn off all the lights and check every inch, even the walls, be a laser scanning robot lol, look for light reflections, like cat eyes glowing in the dark. Good luck! I hope you find your peace!

What about looking for cameras in hotel rooms and rentals, that's a perfectly reasonable use of that device (It's scarily common nowadays).

Can it be, yes. However it’s most likely a ground wire as it should have a ground. Always good to check though 👍

I was. Worked fine the whole time. The only reason it went off again was it detected the camera. That’s the hard part about filming one of these. Unless you use a long lens from a far distance like they do in movies it will pick it up. This was clearly just a demo so people understand what it is.

I live in an apartment complex where tenants are parking in my space and refusing to move. So as proof I record it. Yahoo email will not upload large videos so I upload them to CZcams on the Privacy setting to show the landlord. No one else can see them. Then I remove them. Now she said she wants me to move out for recording other tenants and uploading it on CZcams. She simply wants me gone. Can she do that?
