Great example Ben - it's excellent to show the realty of working in the real world. Trees, buildings - limited sky-view for whatever reason can limit the capacity of any GNSS to get a signal. But as a tool that can provide cm accuracy (when you have skyview and are receiving corrections) this equipment is fantastic. The introduction of tilt with the Reach RS3 can really help with locations that are a bit tricky to pickup sufficient satellites.

Great job! Thanks for a thorough comparison.

Yes, the new receiver modules do a lot for less, and most of that error is likely as you mentioned in handling, and the reference network used.
What I would be interested in would be repeatability - if you have days where you have picked up the reference points at the beginning and at the end of the work.

Hey Kasper, yeah that's a great idea.
I did this job back in March, we are now in May, so I might head back out there next week if I get time and pick up those 3 points again and do a follow up video.
I will touch base back on here and let you know if I get time to do it.
Although even if I don't get time next week, I am sure even if its not to next month, it will still be a good comparison to do.
      Cheers Ben.

@kkpdk Hey Kasper, it took a bit longer to get back out there than I expected, but we got there.
Here is the new video for you - czcams.com/video/bv1_e2PRlI4/video.html

Did you buy 2 of them, using 1 as base station and the other as a rover or you only buy 1?

      Hey Doddy,
Nope, am just using RS2+ on its own.
I use the free Auscors network to get my RTK corrections.
