Daniel Ricciardo's DISASTER PERFORMANCE Leads To Lawson's TAKEOVER!

  • ■ Daniel Ricciardo’s position in F1 has been put in jeopardy yet again, and after what he had to endure in the last GP in Australia, it’s safe to assume that the team won’t be hesitant to put another driver at his seat. With Liam Lawson being very much present during the race weekends in the Racing Bulls garage, as well as Horner’s initial promise that the Austrian team ‘has something planned’ for him in 2025, could we see a drivers’ swap as early as in the middle of 2024? And what do Marko’s comments suggest on this matter, given the fact that, as of now, Tsunoda is the only point scorer for the team and is keeping them alive at P6 in the constructors’ championship?

It is kind of amazing to realize Ricciardo is doing even more poorly than de Vries was last year! I wonder if Danny was put up against de Vries at the RB, how he would fare. There seems to be no end to this DR humiliation, and, although I blame it all on his being distracted with PR stunts, like painting weird enigmatic phrases on his helmet, or the disgusting habit of drinking wine from a sweaty shoe all just for "show", rather than concentrating fully on his racing craft. On the other hand, all that PR made him way more money than he deserved to get as a racing driver, given that, ever since he left RBR he became gradually more and more a mediocre driver. But, who would ever guess it could sink this low!

Yea he's been way too focused on being this DTS character, kind of "Pls sign me I'm funny. Also "fuck em all" while getting lapped by his teammate in Mónaco 😅 Nothing against the guy I guess but he's talked so much and given so many excuses, I want to see him driving well, not doing everything else I don't care about social media.

It's just time to move on to the younger drivers, many of which have been waiting over two seasons to get to show what they have. Instead, you have too many "hero worshipers" (not only in the stands, but also in the press) that stubbornly hold on while watching them fail repeatedly.
It it time for Lawson, Drogovich, and others to get in these seats and make it happen. There's always other places that Daniel and others can move on with, like WEC or even Indycar.

It’s very sad to see DR’s recent results, as a DR fan.. The man should’ve never left Red Bull all those years ago. I didn’t agree with the move then, and still don’t to this day based on where his career has ended up.
Im sure he looks back and regrets that decision out of them all, which is why he has made a push to get back in that seat next to Max. But with recent developments, that goal is so much farther away. Which pains me as a fan.
I hope he finds peace, either through retirement or maybe new life in a different seat.

He did not have the new chassis in Japan because that is coming in Shanghai. That will be his last excuse because China is one of his best suited tracks. It favours all of his driving style preferences so no more chances after this. With all the driver seats coming up Liam could do much better than a drive with RB so all you plonkers crying for Liam to slot into Ricciardo's seat might have a think about that. Ricciardo is gone given his current run but a 10 position is all that car is capable of. Go for a better seat Liam.

Still dont really understand all this hype over Lawson since his 5 race stint at AT...
He went 1/5 in the points, finishing 9th in Singapore. But finished 13th in Netherlands, 11th in Monza, 11th again in Suzuka, and 17th in Qatar...
Which is basically right on point with how Riccardo finishes at the moment.
Everyones treating thr kid like he went 5/5 in his stint with AT...
He went 1/5 and it wasnt even as high as Riccardos highest finishing position with the team.
I mean, the kids got talent. Hes solid. But why is everyone treating it like something he hasnt even proved yet.
Finishes were extremely inconsistent. 2/5 was WAY out of the points, other 2/5 were just out of the points but still not points scoring races, and 1/5 was JUST in the points.
Id understand this hype if he had like, an 8th and a 9th, and 3 11ths, or something, bit i just dont see anything too special compared to Riccardo on those performances

The media persecution on Daniel is getting out of hand. Yes he has a bad start. Nevertheless he deserve respect, they did the to Albon a when at Red Bull, the pressure the media put on the promotion of Checo, and last year he could not do anything right. If you want to talk about age, then set an average age limit, 28 years and you are out.

idk, atm I would change Perez, hes like what Irvine and Barrichelo was for Schumacher, some1 that will follow orders and focus on team points, and give Max wins. In fact, Tsunoda doesnt look like the type of guy to be the Second Driver, he WILL try to beat Max if he, someday, goes to Redbull. As for Danny, i think he at best, would do the same thing that Perez is doing right now, so, why risk putting him as secund driver? Better keep it safe with Perez since hes always getting podiums and defending to make sure Max stays on the front, hes consistent and follow orders, theres no reason to ditch Perez (unless he wants to leave, obviously). And Vettel, I highly doubt Vettel would make the Second Driver role with a Redbull car, imagine Vettel with the best car in the grid NOT trying to win races, he would never do that with a competitive car, this would lead to in-team competition with max, which would be bad for Redbull

Blah blah blah I'll believe when I see it as he departs from the Racists are Us team. Ooops did I say that out loud?
