This video is of a Truck Bed Camper rebuild/remodel,
A DIY couple completely rebuild this truck bed camper into a full time off grid tiny home.
At the time of the build we didn't intend on uploading a video onto CZcams it was suggested to us later and that is why this isn't a "step-by-step" style video. We have purchased another camper that we intend to do a complete "step-by-step" build for you guys. So please give us a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel. Very nice. They are always more water damaged than we think at first. We just wrapped up a $500 truck camper build for our Alaska Adventures. I documented most for CZcams but it is hard to video and work and find time to edit and upload. You guys have a come a long way!!!!

I use to have a Truck camper , my friend gave it to me. With that thing in my f-250 buckin the wind I couldn’t get the truck to go faster than 72 mph.
ButI had fun with it camping out at my job 250’ down in a lime stone quarry on the weekends . You did a good job on everything, I should have fix mine up but it was like 16 yrs old when I got it n didn’t have the time. Thx. For posting this video!

Guess you missed the part of him saying up north and insulating it the way they wanted to. Doesn’t matter if it’s black if it’s well insulated but that went over your head lol.
We have a Bigfoot truck camper. We've had it since 2001. Bought it brand new. We love camping in it. We've camped in -22 in Michigan. And been toasty warm inside.
Very beautiful, nice job, i am restoring a 1988 Grandby pop-up, i will make a video of it soon. they are more work than a 10 min video, and i had to pay 5 grand for one that needed a rehab, FWC pop ups are so dang expensive, but new ones are 30k.

The intrusive music during your intro is just not needed. It is LOUD and makes it hard to hear you. What a wonderful job you’ve accomplished. You’re very skilled and the sign writing is brilliant. It would be great to know how much and what sort of insulation you put in and how you went about water proofing it. I was gobsmacked to see the internal frame was wood. Aluminium would be the standard in more modern times I guess. Bravo. PS the rest of the music was fine. 😊
5:24 essential you bought a DIY kit camper, that was already assembled, all you did was take it apart, and reverse engineering it. and, built a better version, using the original structure as a template 🤘🏽

I'm guessing this is a 90's Shadow cruiser?!? I love the exterior lines on these things and am glad you didn't remove the rear end "wings" that hold the lights. They give it so much personality.

I want to take a moment to explaining the back tattoo, I was raised by a very extreme right family having ties to many groups that I no longer associate with. Aryan nations, led by Richard butler in Idaho, my father attended so you can imagine my influences, shameful but I won't deny that my youth was filled with confusion. My uncle was known as AJAX and formed the "road jammers" in 1976, in 1993 Charleston hells angels mc swallowed the small club of 11 guys that grew up together and again my influences were to say the least misguided.......it wasn't until my grandfather and grandmother allowed me to join their home in 1991 where i begin to see different but still eager to join the long line of "outlaw" far right groups. I had the opportunity to enroll in Furman university in 2004 by no right or earning of my own but by the hands of my grandfather who served in the Army after graduating Clemson university. Trying hard to steer me differently, his words feel on def ears, I dropped out without finishing my business degree. years later after a failed marriage I again, throw the only influence of wisdom given to me in the form of grandparents able to attend bible college in Hendersonville, it was shortly after I gave me should and heart to the only Father I've ever had, I just had been ignoring Him. I have tried to remove it several times unfortunately tiring to dig out of a family mostly filled with ignorance and hate meaning my starting line was a bit of a challenge, I've tried to use it in such situations at least if possible to chat about our Father in Heaven and His love for all His Children, Jesus nailed to a cross because of our sins and how he continues to love those who hate everyone different and he himself blamed for my every excuse of pathetic existence.....I'm hoping this will be received with love and to anyone who hasn't mentioned it I would appreciate an opportunity to personally ask for their forgiveness as I'm asking you now to forgive me for offending. as to the other videos we have a lot of content, however right after this video we lost everything.....April 13 2019 Pickens county tornado (google it and you will find more info) house, 2 trucks, 1 A class motorhome, 2 5th wheel campers (to create more content) 2 cars and everything electronic.......we had bought the land from family after a death and were waiting on probate to complete the 365 day event of hold, the insurance was in the name of the surviving wife of another uncle who had the lowest coverage possible and had not informed the insurance of additional coverage as instructed, it covered literally only 8,000 and i emptied savings to live the next year rebuilding, then COVID.....the inflation that followed crippled our abilities to move forward. Believe me when I tell you ....WE WILL BE BACK....thanks again for your time

Need help with my shadow cruiser trying to replace roof as well. A little bit at a time but having trouble figuring out if I need to pull the sides off and replace the paneling on the inside, but I can’t do it while I’m heading out of country and need some input.

I’m working on a ‘93 Shadow Cruiser pop up right now and was wondering what type of paint/ application process you used for the primer and black top coat? Did you spray it with a paint gun?

Did you ever mount it on the gooseneck? I'd like to see the finished product. I've often thought about doing that myself, but sold the camper and haven't replaced it yet.
we did actually buy the goose neck, however in the next video (hopefully this week) we explain why the delay in responding as well as the delay in videos, we have had a lot come up since and are about to begin the new camper build with weekly/daily videos
Which truck campers are made with aluminum framing?
How did u do this build for 1500 does that include the 800 for the camper
I have just bought the same camper and have had to rebuild all 4 corners almost to the point of putting siding back on then to tackle the inside. So you have any insight on insulation? Also how did you finish the bathroom. Im thinking about making the shower outside off the back and adding a small deck ?
Very nice work. But 1) what was the purpose of tearing down an $800 camper to the frame, and then some, then totally rebuilding it? 2) Even though it looks nice, why on the God's green earth would you paint it black??? That makes it an instant oven! You would have been better off to buy plans from Glen-L...
