"ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਇਹ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੈ ?"
"ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਕ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੈ ", ਉੱਤਰ ਮਿਲਿਆ |
"ਪੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਗੇ ਕੀ ਲਿਖਿਐ ?"
"ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਮੈਂ ਕੇਡਾ ਭਾਗਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਜ਼ਬਾਤ ਦੀ ਤਰਜਮਾਨੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਧਾਰੇ ਹੋ |"
ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਪਡ਼ੀ | ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਜਤਾਈ ਤੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ
"ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਕੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ ?"
"ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ! ਬੰਦਗੀਨਾਮਾ "
"ਬਹੁਤ ਖੂਬ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਨਾ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਨਾਮਾ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿਓਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਰੂਪੀ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਪਿਆ ਹੈ | ਇਸਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਹੈ |"

ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਮਕਸਦ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਇਸ ਮਿਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ, ਦੇਹੀ ਦਾ ਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦਾਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ । ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਂ ਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ, ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ, ਵੀਡੀਓ/ਆਡੀਓ ਮਾਧਿਅਮ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਰੀਏ ਜਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਹੋਂਦ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਤੇ ਫਰਜ਼ ਅਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਨਿਮਾਣੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਹਾਂ । ਜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਦੇ ਲੜ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਚਾਕਰੀਂ ਕਮਾਵਾਂ, ਇਹੀ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਹੈ । ਸੰਗਤ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਖਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਸਾਂ ਲਈਆਂ ਹਨ । ਇਸੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਚਾਓ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤੇ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਤਾਂਘ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ । While trying to fulfill the purpose of my coming to this world, I am frateful for your Sangat's asees. This is a humble attempt to do some duty of my existence in this world by doing kirtan or teaching, through poems, through video/audio medium or through other services. Waheguru has gifted me with the blessings of Kirtan and I believe that sharing it with the Sangat is my duty.
