For me it is working too but i tried Fortnite and the quality was terrible but I have a Windows 11 and I have a large space for that but there was a windows 8 so idk If I shouldn't have downloaded it for Windows 11. I agree. I already have origin and and says to download again and tells me my msvcp140.dll is now missing all the sudden.
I was so close to bursting into tears. Hours. HOURS. I've been trying to figure this out. Tutorial, after tutorial, after tuturial. And nothing. The amount of applications I've had to download, and times I've had to restart and reinstall and still nothing. Thank you sooo much! You're the only one that has worked for me!

After three days of trying to fix this issue, many trials, angry moments where I had to go on a walk to calm down, and lots of hair loss, this human has solved my issues. Thank you so much human, you are a true amazing hero for us gamers in need.
This is the best fix so far. Simple explanation: the files are saved in the System32 folder, but Origin searches in the SysWOW64 folder where they are not saved. That's why we are copying them in there so Origin has the runtimes to start.

I can finally go back to playing my sims games 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 I had to buy an external storage device because Mods, CC, The Sims game, and origin take up so much storage I just didn’t have space for anything this so this was definitely a life saver!! If someone has the brain capacity to get here to this video, they probably also have the capacity to tell you if it works or doesn't. You probably just turned 13 and think you're above everyone else even though you're not. I can tell you this works and I'm not 12, I'm 11. So thanks for the verification of this tutorial's ability to function as intended, but throwing an assumption that 12-year olds are too dumb to understand basic human knowledge based on if something works or doesn't isn't necessary.
