Yes, mindfulness meditation will really help. Keeping your mind in the present and meditating even for 10 minutes a day will create a change. But it is a practice. It will help if you are regular. We can help our minds and bodies to change their ways. Practice regularly and all the very best.

Meditation ke alag alag techniques hote hain. Sabhi mindfulness create karte hain. Mindfulness ka matlab hai is waqt jo ghat raha hai usse judna. Jab hum breathing meditation karte hain, to humaari saans se jud jaate hain jo is waqt hi ghat rahi hai. Isiliye breathing meditation, ya vipassana jaisa shareer ki jankaari rakhne waali saari techniques mein mindfulness ek zaroori aspect hai.

How to practice mindfulness while studying? Does being completely focused on studying and bringing oneself back to focus after getting distracted come under mindfulness.
Yes it is mindfulness. Any situation where you choose your present moment instead of choosing your thoughts involves being mindful. Thoughts belong to the past or future or are making some kind of commentary. Every time you return to your studies instead of choosing other distractions you are being mindful.

This weight on chest feeling happens usually because of overthinking and constant stress. Over a period of time this will lead to stress-related illnesses. You need to start practicing being in the present moment. Keep your mind in the present. Take out 15 minutes a day to meditate and do it regularly. A lot will change with regular practice.
Here are two meditation practices that will help you. Do body scan on one day and breathing meditation the next day. Take care and stay well.

Gurmeet aisa keh sakte hain. Lekin mindfulness ye bhi batata hai ke jo bhi cheez ko dekho, chaahe kaam ki bhi ho, to bhi use judgment ke saath mat dekho.
