To EVERYONE getting ANY sort of electric shock:
Go to a hospital and get yourself checked out. Tell the staff in detail what happened, what you handled, how many volts / amps you've been working with etc. Any electric current can cause arrhythmia not just when it happens but hours after the incident. This can be a minor nuisance that you don't even notice, or it can lead to heart failure.
They usually keep you in the hospital for 24 hours hooked up to an EKG machine and monitor your heart while they do some other tests.
Electric current can also cause blood clots and burnt tissues in your body, so yeah, not fun. If you are lucky, the electricity travels from one point to another on a skin surface level, hence the burns. If you are connected to the source for longer, electric current could travel deeper into the body and causes the same problems (tissue burns, usually muscle, veins, nerves), but they are not visible.
Also what people need to keep in mind is that it's not the volts that kills you, it's the amps. It takes just 1/10th of an amp to make you have a heart attack...

I hear ya on the feeling of building a bike yourself. I put a 50cc 4 stroke engine on an 18 speed huffy I got at a garage sale and absolutely love that little guy! Even though I have a Talaria Sting R, I ride that little huffy all the time!

It’s more rewarding. I broke the freewheel on my razor bike (because they ain’t built for 72v) and after taking it apart and welding you just feel like you deserve to ride. Idk it’s different than something from a factory

It’s amazing, but man, that pricing is just wild ( I bought a hayabusa with 18k miles on it for 4200, only a few bucks more)..really wish these became so popular they could be made for under 2k, then I would be in!

Can't look at it that way. I use to. Than I bought my 1st small bore bike like 10 years ago. Keep in mind at the time (and now) I had a goldwing 1100cc trike fully loaded every mod that could be done was done including turbo and heat vents grips and seat fully adjustable air suspension matching trailer the prefect long hauler. Than I got my icebear mojo 49cc scooter trike it's a 50cc scooter with 2 wheels in the back but looks clean. I spent 2k on it than dropped another 1k into a 150cc Italian racing motor that's now a 203cc bored out with turbo boost is small but sounds amazing 😍 and will lift the front wheel up only tops at 65mph but it's soooooo much more fun to ride than the goldwing I love it sooo much more. That bike sent me down the rabbit hole building racing scooters mopads wheelie scoots drag racing scoots. Than motorized bicycle 🚲 I have one with a 100cc 2t am6 water cooled motor on a beach cruiser felt faker frame bicycle hydro brakes and it does high 70s easy another one that has a 212cc motor fully built out about 30hp on a 70lbs beach cruiser bike lol enough said it's amazing 🤩🤩 the 2t build was around 3500 the 4t was over $5,000.
Than I got a sur-ron LBX 2022 I adore that bike! And just bought a talaria sting mx4 with zero regrets.
I have a fleet of bikes 16 in total from mini bikes to a fully customized crb now 700 and that 1100 my tiny trike and sur ron see the road more than any of the others.
I wouldn't buy the razor though screw that I would take a mini bike and make it electric 💡⚡ something like the Coleman ct200 or a trail master end results would be a way way more reliable bike
