I studied classical guitar in high school and every day after school I would practice in my living room for hours. I had a Maltese who was very old and lost her vision but she always sat next to me when I played guitar, I like to think the classical guitar music soothed her. I miss you Gina. Thank you for sharing this lovely video brings back some nice memories.
I once had a mix breed maltese too and she was the most beautiful thing in my life, her eyes literally holds stars with her fluffy sof tears now she isn't with me anymore and sometimes I miss her very much seeing her favourite sitting place being empty is just.....but I hope one day we shall meet again too so I hope you meet your gina too somewhere someday. I rlly sound like I'm speakin gibberish haha.

I had a Maltese named Ruby that passed about seven months ago. I can't tell you how many times I would be distracted in my playing while staring down at the fret board, to suddenly look up and see her sitting right in front of me, watching. She was an incredibly affectionate dog who only knew how to show it by constantly being right beside you; whether that was beside another family member or myself. If she was in the room and you didn't notice her, she would remind you that she was there by rubbing her paw against your leg until you acknowledged her (and hopefully held her); it never failed. I know that she was listening during these times because not only was she typically sitting about six feet in front of me when I'd catch her watching (and saw her eye movements trail from the guitar to my face many times), but as soon as I'd even just start to set my guitar down right after seeing her there, she'd run up to me so that I'd pick her up and put her in my lap. She's the best fan I've ever had and I miss her horribly. And I'm willing to bet that Gina was yours as well.

She lived a long and happy life and she had an amazing owner who clearly took care of her and treated her like family. When the tears go away you realize that the comradeship made both the dog's life and the human's life far happier than her passing made one sad. Adorable dog, anyone would be lucky to have such a sweet friend in their life.
My dog is getting old. I think about her leaving me, and try to appreciate every moment every day with her. I know that it is going to hurt.
