It was more of a courtesy we're making it easier to help the person communicate. I would get a lot of people with that type of attitude that I had to speak their language not the other way around. Don't get me wrong, I am not embarrassed by being hispanic it's just the attitude that someone is not willing to try to learn a little bit after being here for 50 years

How about the fact that America doesn´t have an official language?
If that happened to you in another country you have all the reason to file a lawsuit and for that bothered you. But it isn´t.
Also, could there be a reason for the job that required you to know Spanish? Maybe it was in a place where there´s a vast majority that speak Spanish?
Because, besides of the fact that there´s no main language in America there are also circumstances. For instance, while I dont agree with you, if you were to work in a place where everybody there just speak English, that there´s no major (if at all) Latino community or immigration then it wouldn´t have made sense for that requirement.

I agree with the guest who spoke to Harvey when he said that the defendant should've minded his own business. I believe what the defendant did was pretty lowdown..

It's alot more common than ya think. I watch courtroom zoom and it's pretty typical for them to be called sir. That's why they don't make a big deal out of it. Now if ya call her mom on the other hand... 😅😂 They definitely are telling their families a litigant called them that with giggles.

I was disgusted by JM's implied comment to the plaintiff, "learn to speak English, this is America. "
I'm just a run-of-the-mill, African-American, Air Force veteran. I appreciate/envy those who are trying to learn and speak a language not native to them.
I love me some JM. Thought i had seen every single episode of People's Court. I do not remember hearing this case or her vile, ignorant and pompous comment. I've always been taken aback by her eyerolling and utter disgust when litigants speak in broken English. This outburst was next-level despicable. I'm so disappointed in my JM, still love her, but my heart hurts.

Wrong, If I knew where you lived I could have your car towed off of your own property right now. Tow companies don't double check these things, someone calls in a tow and they tow it simple as that. Maybe learn about real life a little before commenting
