Something I wish clients understood more, is how long it takes to strip a floor. As you had to do it 3 times to get it stripped, then neutralized, then 30 minute dry time in between coats of wax. 6 hours actually is pretty quick for a vct floor in that shape!

Question... Wouldn't a good wax stripper be a little faster. I have used a few that almost strip the floor down to the bare tile before the floor machine even begins to hit the floor.
Yes, stripper may be quicker, I can't argue that fact. But I like to use the degreaser because there is so much grease that has worked it's way down into the tile. Either way, it would take several passes with a floor this bad.
The machine spins counter clockwise so when I go by a desk I go from right to left. This helps with not getting solution up under anything that I don't want under.
I would say no. You have to have a company come in that uses a machine specifically for tile and grout. It's a hard surface cleaner wand that basically sprays high pressure water and then it is sucked back up to the truck (or van). It looks similar to what is used for pressure cleaning a roof or driveway.
im working as a janitor on a well known supermarket here in the philippines but our vinyl floor on our canteen and back office are turning yellow. any suggestion on cleaning method ?. what should i use degreaser or floor stripper ?. there are some brown stains on it .

@@TheGentleStranger You want to call someone who does tile and floor care for an estimate. I would have to see the floor before I could give an estimation of the cost. I would get a couple estimates from reliable sources. Make sure they have a website showcasing their works so you know who you are getting. Thanks for the comment...

I never thought about using a degreaser instead of stripper. Did you still neutralize the floor before applying wax.
Wet mopped floor with water only before waxing.
