I have a couple of concerns;
A. Whenever one of these witnesses says they will go back to their team to get info or answers, and will send that info to the committee, does that ever actually happen?
B. Do these witnesses, particularly Mayorkas, understand that congress is their boss? If my boss asked me about my job performance, and I answered like these guys, I’d be out of a job. I feel that these people really think they answer to no one. Probably because there are never repercussions for their behavior.
Another concern re. this practice is when they "get back to them," as in send over documentation, they are no longer under oath... Neat tactic. Act like, "I don't know," so they can lie if and when they turn over information.

Re. B: Historian Larry Schweikart has talked about this a bit, saying that past presidents have tried to eliminate or significantly scale back certain bureaucracies, but have found them too essential to their policy goals, such that they had to abandon their plans.
What may be the case is that these bureaucracies have their "bad" parts and "good" parts, and trying to separate the two is too much of a lift. So, what the president and Congress does is just live with the "bad" parts to get the benefits of the "good" parts. I wonder about the FBI, though. Could it finally come to pass that people look at it and say, "The bad outweighs the good"? I've reached that point, myself.

I think it is necessary to have, the problem is that this runs so deep. We as a people have been so conditioned to worrying about everything except what goes on in our government. A vast majority of people have no idea how the government works as laid out by the constitution. This is generations of ignorance to the systems. Tyranny can take hold when the people aren't properly informed or invested in their government. It is the duty of the people in a free society to remain informed and invested in such an institution, but due to our own apathy, and the brainwashing pushed on us, we as a people care more about football and Kardashians than the state of our free society. We have long ago crossed the line into tyranny because of all of this. But in relation to national security threats and international threats, we definitely need an organization of the sort, but we have Noone to blame but ourselves for allowing corruption and tyranny to take hold.

Another woman was raided at night by the FBI because of an "anonymous tip" that she had been at the Capitol Jan 6. They took her phones and laptop from her. She was able to prove to them by her texts that she had been at work that day. But she should not have to prove anything! First, They have to have probable cause to get a warrant. Second, it's none of their damn business if she was at the Capitol that day unless she broke a window or assaulted someone! We have the right to protest in our constitution. So FBI, you need to be dismantled.

He keeps wanting to go back to the issue of collecting the data, but the question isn't about whether or not he's collecting the data the question is about whether or not not he's attaching names to the data that they collect there's a big difference. Social media sites have been known to sell data on individuals but the name of the people that this data is coming from is not supposed to be exposed and yet the FBI has the techniques and technology to mind this data until they find out who it belongs to or who it came from and that's what I'm getting from the questioning. But he's avoiding answering yes or no to the question are you attaching names to this data he's avoiding that.

It is shameful how these people think the law does not apply to them.
It has kind of mystified me why Trump didn't fire Wray, especially once it was clear that the FBI was pursuing information against Trump that they knew from the beginning was false. It seems to me it's Wray's job to put a stop to that sort of thing.
