So this one was rushed in places because of the time crunch between getting Arthur Saga done and Halloween so if it's a little less than you were expecting that's why, hopefully it was worth the work that went into the video! Happy Halloween!

@@BrendamProductions I honestly think I know why the scrapyard always has a red glow to it, because to a steam engine, the red glow in the scrapyard is the symbolic equivalent of purgatory. And the Diesels are the grim reapers.

@@BrendamProductions If you think about it, it does make a bit of sense. I mean, isn't Hell depicted as having a red glow everywhere and people being tortured, a place where no one wants to go? And the scrapyard on Sodor is depicted as just that. It's basically just a metaphor for Hell on Sodor.
@@BrendamProductions one of those days Diesel, diesel 10 or arry and Bert or all four of them will ended up being scraped for telling the fat controller's engines are scrap and diesels will take over
I love the headcanon that Arry and Bert were some of the diesels that tried to stop Oliver from escaping. Really fits them and gives some sort of vibes to Oliver’s backstory.

I loved this from start to Finnish. I especially love the subplot where arry and Bert were sent to follow Oliver to Sodor. You don’t think arry and Bert were the diesels growling outside the cutting. I also love that this story mentions that Oliver has PTSD from scrap as well as the scrapyard scene. You just feel absolute panic while watching the scene. Especially the “We’ll be considered heros when we bring you back in pieces on a flatbed” and Oliver’s distressed cries and screams. 10/10

The ending is satisfying to watch The Fat Controller telling off Arry & Bert for trying to Scrap Oliver
That was a great story for Oliver! The past comes back to haunt him, and I really like how Arry and Bert recognized Oliver and there were consequences after Oliver's escape.

This is way too coincidental. I was telling my younger brother yesterday that it would have made more sense for Oliver to be the main character of Stepneys gets lost. this is because Arry said "Got you this time stepney", Implying a history between them. And now you went and made it, and even gave a great explanation for why he went to the scrap yard and telling us why Arry and Bert are on sobor. FANTASTIC.

This was undeniably a wonderfully-crafted spooky tale! The narration, the visuals, the tension, its all so damn good! It was also an interesting concept by referencing one of the best RWS stories, definitely works with what Oliver went through in the past. Such a fun ride overall!

Yeah I don't like how they went from these killing machines to pranksters but hey I guess that's just a future rewrite to be made haha
Especially in CGI Brenner era. Would be perfect. I'm glad they appear throughout the show though.

Man it’s been a while I’ve felt this tense watching a fan story, Oliver can’t seem to catch a break. This was such a good story man, the tone and editing was phenomenal! Excellent work!

Man, this story was amazing!!! The Iron Twins were truly menacing and I love the plot of Oliver's escape having consequences as it likely would have. The visuals are incredible and so is the atmosphere, the smelters yard has never been more menacing! The voice acting was also great. Finally, I really like the intro and outro music, it really adds to the tone and is very beautiful.
My only gripe with the story is that Arry and Bert got off too light in my opinion, unless they actually did get scrapped :o
Thank you for all of these lovely words! What happens to the twins is open ended the lovely thing about one offs is that the individual can decide if it's cannon to my take on the Thomas world or if it's just an alt universe story. In the actual video they aren't seen to be being scrapped as I am always quite worried about people having the reaction of "ew edgy" and I haven't quite figured out a way to kill off a character without it becoming that yet.

As for killing off a character, maybe you could give indications it happened but not show it. It could be subtle or not. Sounds and shadows are good options. However at the end of the day, you don't have to kill a character off if you don't want to, maybe just give a slightly ominous ending.

Genuinely kinda horrifying. Brought my right back to the state of mind young me had with some of the tensest season 5 episodes, but scaled up enough that even adult me felt the heart clenching. Well done!

As dark as this may sound I see the most fire Thomas fan saga in history if they scraped Oliver in the end… bro think of the plot lines
The potential effects it’ll have on the little western as well as sodor and their relationships between steam engines and diesels
The tragic end to Oliver’s character arc with him loosing to the one thing he was certain of when he was saved… his safety (plus the in character way he went out in this would be wild)
Arrie and Bert getting what they wanted which is being sent back to the mainland just to be scraped because there outdated diesels
That was amazing! Reminded me the great old episode with Stepney who also ended in the same way. So cool to see productions faithful to the original model series :)

This story is the first I've ever seen of yours and it certainly gave me Season 5 vibes. The Duncan Gets Spooked theme in this story adds suspense and creep as it was always meant to do so.

I’m surprised the fat controller didn’t tell their manager about what his engines did. Personal I would have told the twins that if i find you scraped any of my engines you would have been taken apart faster then all of Barry’s workmen put together.

I enjoyed this a lot! Though I was hoping Henry would get punished for not paying attention to his job since that was the reason Oliver was left behind.

@@josephtomaso6790 However the reasoning I gave for neither being told off was that you wouldn't tell off an engine that was just about to be dead, and 1) if your not telling one off you can't tell the other off and 2) Henry is the reason Oliver's not dead he can't very well go and punish him after those heroics
