    That was funny 🤣. Loved how Ben's face changed at the range.

      A couple folks down range were cracking up! ("OH! His face changed!!!") hahahaha. Ben sent me these when i told him my plan, he's hilarious!

    They are excellent bags. I have their Ecopak gray custom food bag.

    LOL - don’t think anyone would’ve noticed the inside out shirt! Thanks for the laugh! I’m in the process of shopping for a bear bag so this was very helpful!! Thanks :)

      I didn't even notice until I was done editing and then thought it was pretty funny. :) I have a link to Hilltop in the video description, they're fantastic!

    I'm right next to Pennsylvania I've hiked all over there and Maryland. I've never seen these before I used old pillow cases and trash bags.
    This looks like a great alternative that will hold better then old boy scout methods.

      Hilltop is the BEST. I love these bags, they feel like paper and are tough as nails. :)

    Hahaha I wondered about your shirt about 1/2 way through the video but dismissed it as a style preference! Loved the "not bulletproof" sequence. That was a lot of time and work and prep to get that into the video! Next bag purchase will probably be one of the new material! Great video!

      Thanks! I love Hilltop and they've always been good to me so I didn't mind the extra effort haha!

    Steps material would make an excellent lightweight backpack for pilgrims and hiking

    Thanks for the information and the entertainment. I am sure Ben is glad to know the DTRSW...? is not bulletproof in case he needed to have that info.

    The most eco bag is the one you already have, so while I’m glad to see a review of the new, more eco-friendly bag, we don’t all need to go out and replace what we already have. Cool if you’re new to backpacking and will be using it extensively though.

    Bags or cannisters?

    • @JimmyJusa
      @JimmyJusa Před 2 lety +1

      I'd say it depends on terrain, if places to hang are hard to find then canisters are less of a hassle in a way. The ursacks are an interesting hybrid of the two. I'm still debating on which to go with.
