I'm glad I started out simple on the essential inexpensive hardware . I actually take pride in the fact that I tried to build a setup inexpensively with great price to quality. It left me able to budget in some essential software and get going quickly.
You can upgrade and expand software and hardware the deeper you get into it. By then, you'll identify more accurately what your priorities, further needs and wants are both hw and sw- wise, test demos, and gain gear brand awareness. You'll likely hone in on products that will compliment your workflow style later, or just work what you have to the max.
I started out with presonus Eris speakers (the small ones). I had planned to upgrade to bigger, but fact is, any bigger and I'd probably be too loud for nearby residents, plus I find myself using headphones 9 times out of 10
After 2 years though, my m20x need replacement pads, but everything else is going strong.
Aesthetics, plants and ambient lighting totally helps the creative mood!
I like those speakers in the vid. Did you relocate? If so, I hoped the transition went well for you

Love this! Simple setups are the best. Really lets you focus on the most important part - music making! Great to hear you're still using a lot of your original purchases today. Lot's of people always feel the need to upgrade and upgrade all the time.
I did relocate - moved across the states to the east coast and currently in a short-term rental as I get my future home situated so this is what I could pack in the car haha! Thanks for the kind words and always tuning in

I also brought Presonus Studio in the box 299. Speakers, interface, headphones, mic, and Studio One

Ah yeah the studio in a box is solid - use to sell those when I worked at Guitar Center back in the day!

First of all, Thank you!! All too clear now. My daughter 14 years, start to study singing, and ask to me, I have study music when I was young, to create music for her. But I'm old now and I have difficult to move and play (I played bass guitar) then I'm trying to understand how to create music with sample and loop. I have a PC, and a program call Music Maker. Then I need keyboard right? Is better a Keyboard with drum pads? And a MIc interface to record her voice.
Last question, the copyright, If i bought a list of sample and loop and I made a song that we post on youtube or example, the copyright are paid?
Now I check on your video if you have done some tutorial, you teach very well :)

Thanks for watching! Nice, you already have a DAW and a concept of the process. The keyboard is 100% optional - you can draw in notes with a mouse or even play from your computers keyboard. I wouldn't dive too deep into MIDI controllers. Keep it simple, the controllers with drum pads end up being a pain to setup and program, you can always use the keys to play drums or loops!
Every loop or sample pack will include a term sheet. Most of the time you are free to use the loops and samples in your productions as long as they are not the only sound in the song, you have to layer it with other sounds and instruments.
      Hope this helps, cheers!

@@matnetik OK Thank you, I will start with the simple configuration possible. When I was young Marantz and Shure was a good choice for MIC. Shure SM58-LC it's still a good product in your opinion?

Can never go wrong with a 58 or 57 but a condenser would probably be a better option. I put a few links in the description!
