Wow Gazelle, I love this! I recently moved to live alone and thrive on my own but I found myself struggling in solitude (particularly in regards to my productivity). I'll spare you my life story but I certainly needed this and feel inspired to continue my meditations, thank you
I believe in divine timing, that we have to read or see things at the right time, and wow, wOmAn!... I wish to share with you what just came up... I had an intense dream a month ago; I stood by the tide until a tsunami came, I watched over as the water rose, and as I fled I could not see a loved one on the surface. To save myself, I climbed up, up the city, up the mountain, up on the Antenna that stood upon that mountain. Until the water came, everything underneath me was thrown back into the vast ocean, except for me. I woke up. Now I am here, reading those last sentences you wrote. 'Sometimes solitude is being like the tide, heard, seen, felt, but unknown, unless you found someone worthy enough to dive'... Last night, I said goodbye to a loved one I did not find in the dream. My Ego wanted to be with this person, yet I did not dive for him. I did not dive into the tidal wave or emerge into the tide to find him again. I could not entirely give. Here I am, hearing your voice, feeling an entire Yes towards 'Thrive in this ocean of you'... To find solitude in the ocean within ourselves is letting ourselves surround ourselves with the waters.. even if it means we end up alone on the top of the mountain, looking out for ourselves, until the moment we are willing to dive. Damn, thank you so much for this!
