Been thinking about a Different commuter car.. I love my G37 Sedan. But it's got a 180000 miles. My daughter is going to be able to have her license in a couple of months so I don't need 4 doors anymore. Been thinking about it 2014ish Mustang

Yeah I hear ya bud, congratulations to your daughter on getting her license, I’m sure she’s excited but you’re probably nervous huh lol. Especially with Al the crazy drivers out there now.
I say go for it man, the 2014 mustang my mom has is a real good car, haven’t really had any issues with it, I will say I wouldn’t really wanna drive it all the time just because it’s low and you know mustang, the suspension is kinda stiff so it’s not the most comfortable car to drive but it’s still not bad, especially if you get a V6 model, they’re more forgiving. Just my two cents, hope you find something good like you’re looking for.

I bought this and just installed it and the screws fit really tight on all of the holes and I had to use a good amount of pressure to tighten and some of them didn’t go all the way in under the trunk lid and it’s leaking rn if u put water on it

Yeah I meant to put in the video that I tapped the holes which made it easier to tighten down. It shouldn’t be leaking though if you applied those sticky pads that came with it on there. That’s essentially what they are, is gaskets, because there’s sticky on both sides.

@@FastFords289 cool, yeah for whatever reason the pads don’t stick quite right and they would if the screws were actually able to tighten properly but I’m going to just replace the screws to some that are a bit higher quality and get some smaller washers so they fit on a bit better

@@gashat4516 yeah or try tapping those, sorry to hear about your experience, hopefully after you do that it’ll seal, if not then you could try applying some strip calk around the bottom edges of the mounting points or run a bead of silicone around the bottom side. Hope this helps.
      Thanks for watching.

@@gashat4516 get you a tap and die set, they’re made to repair threads on a bolt or in a hole. Hope this helps, have any other questions feel free to ask. Good luck, thanks for watching.
