Actually symmetra used to be a support and had no heals.... So they were always called supports from the start
she gave you shield which regenerates so TECHNICALLY
She had her turrets
Came here to say exactly this. Also remember there were Offense and Defense heroes instead of DPS (and getting flamed for playing Mei Hanzo or Torb etc. on attack)?
And nobody played her because of that :P
She could give everyone a 25 HP shield that could regen soo
“Here’s how to carry as Winston!” “Swap” as a Winton enjoyer this hurt deep in my core 😭
Winston is really freaking good too so idk what that guy was saying
@@darthchili4994 Winston can only do so much, if there's a good Mercy on the enemy team you can only pray someone shoots her dead cause you're spending so much time and resources chasing her down. And really good supports don't fear an equally good Winston, they're more likely to be able to punish him instead. You have to play incredibly safe to start to have any impact.
@Fultonian Wait, so Winston's damage doesn't even out anymore? Rip Winston then. Mercy is basically guaranteed so good luck playing monke.
@@darthchili4994 you just have to wait for her to derp to a spot where you can hit her with punch/goombastomp...lead into it with a right click...and pretty much 1 or 2 bullets followup will down her.
Unless she valks. Then...yeah, idk, just hide 🤣
"It's ok to call supports healers because people also call tanks tanks."
????????????????
I don't even understand how this is getting so many upvotes. How does that not make sense? The three roles were lifted almost directly from MMOs but we suddenly want to call healers "supports" because the people playing the healers don't want to feel like they're doing the girlfriend mode pick.
@@animegirl4209 fr tho people get so mad over saying "healers" when it literally DOESN'T matter call it support or healer its just a fucking title
@@animegirl4209 "upvotes"
@@Guiltrip I legit feel like the people who get upset over being called healers actually legit don't think their other contributions are being weighted. Like bro you can still get pat on the back for some good kills/darts/whatever the fuck and still be considered the team's healer. Like, Soldier can heal too, but that's not his role. And we can argue all day that the support's role is, well, "supporting", but 70% of that should probably just actually be healing being realistic. Healers in MMOs have a pretty common expectation to also contribute with buffs/damage/whatever; really not sure why suddenly Overwatch has this double standard where "healer" is just a bad word.
But this is also the same game that used to have attack/defense categories for DPS that 75% of the time didn't even make sense so ...
i mean thats literally fax im a support and tank main if someone calls me a healer when im playing a support who cares support are literally healers even if they do more than heal their base kit makes it so that they heal
symmetra when she was a support back on day one completely revoked this argument
Thank. You.
She was horrible though
With role queue, I don't see them having a healless support
@@Ghostofcalmaity not the point she was literally called support

So here's the problem with just leaving one person on the bot. If someone like, flanks around and takes out the one guy you left to push, they're gonna start moving the bot back the other way. and since it moves much faster when walking and not pushing, the whole team will have to disengage and turn around to get back to the bot before all progress is undone.
The idea for leaving one guy alone is usually that 4 people are slightly ahead to take position, leaving the support who can position further back on it. But yes, you dont want to fully abandon your supports on bot. You just want to be far enough to setup for next fight and back enough to still help support.
You did a better job explaining than the tik tok
I loved the look away for 3 seconds as a support one, so true oh my gosh
especially when the enemy team has a dive/sniper
The bastion shooting at the Ana one killed me as a support player. Do people not understand that peripheral vision doesn't work the same was in an FPS as it does in real life? Especially with a scope
oof
As a ball main I've already gotten used to making mental routes to the closests healthpacks around me, and look where are my supports positioned to see if I'm within range and on a safe spot before asking for heals (also always thank them).
@@josewolf9884 u dont have to say thanks im supposed to keep u alive it always helps chemistry tho. If u say thanks early ill be looking for u more
@@josewolf9884 As a support main, I'll agree with the sentiment that you don't need to thank me. I'll add though, please use "I need healing" more often, it makes it easier to spot you. (just don't spam it).
This is replay viewer, the Bastion probably was pinging for healing. I'm a support player too, but I have multiple clips that look exactly like this (and don't hit right because the replay doesn't show me asking for healing).
The Sojourn clip is literally me every time I feel the need to lock her lol
There are two main things I'd try in an attempt to improve push:
A. Have what spawn you come out of be determined at the time of death, rather than at the time of respawn. This would eliminate or greatly reduce those awkward moments when your whole team gets forward spawn but you just barely don't make it in time and get the backwards spawn, leaving you out of the fight for far longer.
B. Have the bot actually work more like the payload. A big problem with push is that even if you win the teamfight, if the enemy has the lead and forward spawns they instantly have an advantage going into the next fight. Let's say you win a teamfight after losing a DPS and a Support. You then have two options, either try to disengage and regroup, which means you're not making progress on the push, or try to make progress on the robot, but by the time the bot even starts pushing the block the enemy team has already respawned and you're now going in 3v5. Having the bot move faster based on the number of players on it, like the payload does, would make it easier to get more push progress in the downtime between fights and make it a little less steamroll-y.
Personally, I've always felt that game modes where you unlock a forward spawn at some point, be that push, escort or hybrid, should just have a teleporter in the previous spawn that lets you skip over to the currently active one.
@@darthplagueis13 I believe they implemented this function?
At least if you get forward Spawn you can get sent backwards, not sure about the other way around
@@GoldenKirby Yeh, they added it towards the beginning of Season 4 due to populat demand.
When I first played overwatch I thought ana could only heal with her nade so after 3 games playing i realized I could heal when shooting people with my rifle
that happens more often than you think. There's also those that thought that lucio heals by shooting his teammates.
I thought the same… my teammates were not happy
The bastion one genuinely infuriated me. Had a Junkrat standing behind me on Rialto spamming 'I need healing' while I was trying to keep my tank alive instead of going for a health pack literally right next to the capture point. Then when he died cause he was on critical he wanted to say 'Support Diff'.
Wait a support helping the frontline? That’s indeed support diff as in you are a goat and I appreciate you my good mate. Keep on doing your thing
I've seen a dps teammate on fire right next to a 200hp health pack. They kept asking for healing and I just let them die because they were one step from a health pack. I'm not helping you at that point.
poor guy :(
Map knowledge diff.
Tbh tho I have a hard time finding health packs on newer maps...

1:20 "nana sleeps a nano blade genji" come on man you dont need to do me like that
That dude playing the Sojourn is seeing his soul leave him and he knows he will never get it back lol
My big problem with Push is that it's hard to tell where each fight is going to take place. Maybe it's just because I'm an Ana player without the mobility to get around, but it feels like there are tons of times where I find myself completely out of position because I don't really get where the fight's going to happen. And this isn't a problem I tend to have on other game modes, even on newer maps that I don't understand as well as the old OW1 ones. Maybe it's just because there are billions of flank routes on Push maps, but something about it can just make me feel lost
Just remember you don't have to run the bot into the enemy team. You can just as easily step off of the bot a bit earlier to pick a more advantageous spot to fight from, especially if you're in the lead.
I try reminding my team of that when I can. "Guys let's get off the bot and fight them here - this is a good corner." Or something like that. A ton of people just mindlessly sprint alongside the bot, ignoring active team fights or giving up good positions to get it a few extra steps.
In high level play - on any mode - you'll sometimes see teams entirely ignoring the objective to secure the team fight. (Situational!) Because the fight is what practically wins games, despite the objective being what technically wins them, so sometimes you're actually better off just leaving objective alone a bit longer to ensure the enemy team dies.
Just backfilled into a quick play game with you, was an honor sire!
Ironically one of my favorite games ever was after losing the first 3 fights on a push game, we made 3 swaps and got our shit together and won. But it only happened bc of a perfect storm of circumstances
8:53 unranked is slowly turning really sweaty I can relate on that. Some games people treat it like competitive
thats also cus theyre forcing win incentives with new accounts needing 50 wins to unlock comp and other accounts needing wins to unlock kiriko/ramattra. once theyve forced winning as an incentive people start to get toxic
@Fultonian exactly
@@jeremypcleung yep. Exactly
@@jeremypcleung also the daily and weekly challenges
Reminds me of that one match in Ow1 when one guy was boosting someone else account, he was spawn killing and then tbagging everyone and just play with them. It made enemy team tilt so much that they started blaming each other, playing worse and left early. He truly destoryed their mental
I remember watching this video one time of this guy talking about how alt accounts didn't hurt the game and how even lower ranks can still be challenging for plat players, and the footage he chose to use was him doing a 1v5 as genji in comp
The last vid is literally me in every comp game, it ain't about winning, it's about making the whole enemy team fear and kneel before me
You gave me an Epiphany about push maps.Like you said, if you win 3 fights in a row, you basically win the game, but the enemy team almost always still has to suffer through the full 10 minute experience of just pushing the bot back-and-forth. Feels like if on a best of three point capture map you had to play the last round even if the opponent won the first two
Honestly the best example for calling roles for me is Sombra, I personally think she is just straight up a “support”, and she is very much not a “DPS” or “healer”.
Like the thing with people calling terms they are familiar with just shows how little understanding they have towards the game, healer characters in MMOs are very dedicated to healing, and even the more healing-focused supports in OW deviate from being 100% “healers” (Mercy with the Rez and damage boost, Moira with the constant damage, Brig with the protection)
You don’t actually need that much healing in OW2, the reason why “ZenBrig” works in specific comps is because you kill enemies so quickly they don’t have any chance to damage your team, despite their suboptimal healing output. In a game like OW2 “healers” can’t save teammates whereas “supports” can save their teammates and be impactful in other regards, that’s the main reason why OW2 don’t call them “healers” because a healer has barely any value in this game if the only thing they do is heal.
Roadhog doesn't heal.. he self-heals, important distinction. Genji however, definitely a healer. Soldier is a healer, old torb was a healer too, .. who else we got?
Junkerqueen for a couple of seconds
DVa can heal for a milisecond if she eats a healing orb
Yes bro that last vid is so true I’ll literally only focus that one person and tbag them every time
We should start calling the tanks "big health space makers" and dps "kill securers that cant do anything else" 🤩
I love this series
I think the reason why people default to healer is because of the holy trinity of gaming roles. It’s just easier but I like your argument of teaching overwatch. Some games the healer is a full on healer that can do damage and buff/debuff but in overwatch you won’t win if you don’t do damage as a support or help others secure kills
Well, one issue I have with Push is that the maps are bloody humongous and if you get unlucky, you've got like half a minute of walking to get back to the fight, except, by the time you get there, your team has already lost the teamfight, so now you can either turn around and wait for them to respawn whilst the enemy gets free distance with the bot, or run in and feed your brains out to stall a little, which is just gonna keep you delayed with your team.
The maps are just too big and the space between checkpoints is too great to be fun for heroes without traversal options.
10:03 Holy shit I feel vindicated thank you so much, I could feel this happening in s1&2 but had no way to prove it or do anything
I thought I was going crazy getting push like every other game.
@@darthchili4994 I remember first seeing the full map list and realizing that push has the least amount of maps out of any gamemode, that’s when I knew something was up
there's nothing that i love more than sleeping that one nano'd enemy only for my team to wake them back up immediately and then die to said nano'd enemy. gg.
finally learned what DPS was, always thought it was "damage per second", I feel enlightened
but it is, it doesn't have a different meaning?
0:35 by that definition, Soldier 76 is a healer because he can heal himself and his teammates
by that definition Zenyata is a dps because he dps
@@naokaderapider4210 yeah exactly hahaha. I don't get how people can think so 1-dimensionally. "This hero can heal therefore they're a healer, or this hero can dmg therefore they're a dps" like OW is NOT a simple game, so to try to describe/label a hero in such a way just doesn't work.
I absolutely lost it when the guy who everybody said looks like Lucio said he mained him
i love playing some tiktok moira in quickplay and people were crying that i wasnt healing. i had some backlines to attend too lmao

That's exactly how I feel with mercy😂
Every mf in comp has a mercy to make everyone borderline unkillable. "Is this fun? Whole 10min fire fights? This the exciting fast paced gameplay OW2 has huh?!"
There was a couple bangers in this one
The last video is so true. You might have the enemy swap to counter you, but that doesn’t mean they are good at that hero. You could likely keep playing your hero if you’re good enough at them and mess with their mental.
Loving the background music!

I think flats understands the issue of push but he misspoke a little. we do not get push 33% more often the other game modes. the devs were forcing push to be equal with other game modes, so 33% for each. but since push has way fewer maps we end up playing push MAPS more often the other maps. just a small mistake ( unless flats is talking about yet another problem that I am not aware of lol)
the healer and support thing is similar to how people use speed and velocity in casual conversations interchangbly. But technical terms velocity has a direction whereas speed is just a scalar. Same case here.
Reaper is literally a roadhog buster. As logn as you dodge the hook you can just bully with
The problem with push is forward spawn. If you get forward spawn first you pretty much just win as the enemy team has to win ATLEAST 2 fights in a row to gain any distance. If forward spawn was disabled after the forward spawn checkpoint was pushed past by the enemies then it’d disable instead of it being the center of the map. That way if you die at the end of a fight but your team won the fight you still get forward spawn but it doesn’t become impossible for the enemies to take.
Bruh I can relate to the quick play stuff I got on yesterday to have some fun on hog and the other team immediately switched to orisa reaper ana and zen
The whole reason I make a point to call them supports is because people in plat and lower lose their shit if they die because you lowered your healing output by 20% to double your damage/utility output (ex. your team got 2 kills because of it and they as 1 DPS died), or because you picked a support with a lower healing output (does not matter to them how good the other support is at healing, they always want more healing so they can be lazy with positioning).
I haven't played since OW2 dropped (never played 1). But as a new player, barely aware of what characters even do & just testing them out, it was very overwhelming & frustrating to have my teams be so serious in quick play. I remember being so confused & asking my friends if this was ranked bc people got so mad at me for learning & testing out characters.
“I got one swap” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I got an idea for simmetra for a rework, where she has the turret but, she has a stock where she can choose to have dmg OR healing turrets. Like for example 5 turrets total, and she has to select them. Also I miss the shield packs that Torb had back in the day.
3:50 "Mercy have been going through more reworks" blablabla
May I introduce you to Symmetra?
Since the beginning of times we been calling healer in reference of a support class. Any game, always.
Well, to be fair, it's not a great feeling when you lose a Quick Play match because half your team are just dicking around and trolling. Also, remember that there's challenges that require you to win games to complete to get that precious extra Battle Pass XP so that can exacerbate the frustration.
It’s also a holdover from WoW. Tank dps and heals have always been the holy Trinity. Miss your vid’s flats, always fun to check them out-here’s hoping overwatch becomes fun for me again some day

what's your opinion on the short range ctf as a gamemode, how does it hold up at top level play, so far around diamond tier it has been around the most fun one, because of the constant momentum and more chaotic fights, regular ctf just feels bad in comparison imo lol
Counterpoint to Flats saying he's trying to have fun with Widow : Im not having fun going against said widow, so I'll go sombra.
that last one is a mantra for me, I continue to play winston against orisa bastion reaper zen kiriko and I win all the time
I think the reason people call Supports 'healers' in Overwatch is because Overwatch has had a huge influx of players from the World of Warcraft playerbase and for a lot of people it might have been their first experience with games centered around generalized role-based team comps. Games like Counterstrike, Call of Duty, Apex (tbf like 99% of shooters) deal with roles like Sniper, Scout, Fragger, Breachers, Area Denial, Assassins and so on and so forth. Now they are presented with the familiar structure from MMOs with Tank, DPS and... Healer. Meanwhile in camp League of Legends and DOTA calling a Support a Support is a no-brainer.
This could also explain why some players just play Supports and Tanks wrong. A huge chunk of my friend group I have met through World of Warcraft and their first team-based pvp experience (which wasn't WoW pvp) has been Overwatch and I've seen the same consistent issues every time. Tanks mains pick Tank heroes and just sit on or near point hiding behind their shield and not engaging or trying to pick fights. Healer mains pick a Support hero and do everything in their might to keep every team mate's health bar full but never touch their offensive buttons unless pressured. DPS mains pick Damage heroes and storm off in some weird direction to get solo kills or boast about their damage numbers being very high despite not getting kills. Meanwhile my League buddies are probably some of the best Overwatch players I know and are very fast learners when it comes to ult economy, ability usage, when to pick fights, areal denial and what not and are not afraid to pick agressive Tanks or Supports and actually call the roles by their proper names (except I've seen both Soldier and Widowmaker been referred to as an ADCarry once or twice which has been amusing).
God I'm a rambler. There was a point somewhere in that wall of text, but I've forgotten now.
Side note: The damage dealing role in Overwatch is called Damage and not DPS. So so so many people call them DPS which is the MMO term for offense classes. It stands for Damage Per Second and refers to various UI elements and addons in games like WoW, Final Fantasy, Guild Wars and many more which featured overview meters of various stats like damage dealt, damage taken and healing per second, along with soft and hard CCs, dots, crits and crit chance, mana consumption and many other things. + it's way faster to say/write DPS than Damage Dealer.
Side note side note: Damage was also originially called Offense, but I don't remember anyone called any hero an Offense hero after the role rework because everyone just used DPS. It was remnants from when the Defense role existed as well, but lasted for a patch or two after the role rework if I remember correctly before it got changed to what it is today.
The devs and the director of the game even call support healers. Don’t take it personally.
sometimes I feel like flats forgets a lot of players that do rated picks are either low elo or in the middle.
quick play is made for learning character and training without loosing anything. if i ask someone to change, i tell them : "can you swap from "name of the hero" i think you could be better with another one because you are helping that much. After all, it's your choice" when i say that they are sometime dps with 300 damage while i have more than 2k or healer with 300 heal with the other one have 2k
He has returned!
That quickplay tiktok at 8:40 actually speaks to why Overwatch needs an unranked mode so badly. Like for me personally I play quickplay to practice my mechanics on hero's before taking them into ranked whereas others do so to just fuck around but the wide variety of reasons people play quickplay is what creates the inconsistent experiences that people have with that game mode. Bringing back unranked from the beta would give those who want to tryhard a place to practice the game without being forced to deal with quickplay casuals whereas quickplay casuals could tell the sweats to fuck off to unranked or ranked if they're seriously practicing the game. There will always be players who play the game in a way that is incongruent with how it should actually be played but that just comes with the territory of a large, varied community.
when you create a game and you look at the setting look at the right side it says 1 Tank, 2 Offence, and 2 supports so technically you can call Damage Offence instead that will hopefully blow peoples minds
I have a friend who is like a couple weeks into overwatch and he calls supports "healers", dps "shooters," and tanks "chonkers"
as a tracer main i felt that last one on a spritual level
The problem with push is that it snowballs way too easily because the longer the enemy controls the robot, the longer you now have to control it to come back. Both teams can control the robot for exactly the same amount of time and the team who captured it first can still win solely because they won the first fight. That’s to say nothing of the broken forward spawns. If you’re opponents push past first point and your team uses ults to win the fight, congratulations, you played yourself, because by the time you get the robot back to the middle the other team has fully respawned and is now on top of you, most likely with their own ults ready to undo everything you just did and push you right back to where you were 30 seconds ago. I have had games of push where my team is loosing badly and we win maybe 3 or 4 fights only to have it mean absolutely nothing each time cause the enemy team met us at the middle and ulted us into the ground.
Your widow do be gettin crisper tho
Oh so this is why my team leaves me to 1v2 the two flanking dpses in push

hard agree with that last one, just do your best to make the life of the other player who counter picked you miserable for that game.
1- to show them that counterpicking doesnt always work
and 2- to tell them that they should just go back to playing normally instead of trying to counter you so they can have fun again

I take QP way too seriously, because i cant just sit back and relax anymore. Having the second tank removed basically took away my ability to just chill on ball, or flank around on hog and vibe.
Nobody's having fun if they're getting hard rolled, and usually tanks are what prevent that. So ive gotta play harder for the game to not feel like shit, and it can rub off the wrong way when i know my teamates are "just havng fun" and Im putting in more effor than that.
It also stops being fun when the other team just goes sym bastion last point and sweats their ass off for a win that doesn't matter, and i have to contend with it.
Its just lt made me jaded, and not having that second tank slot has made it hardr for me to play the game more chill
I had an Anna ruin a huge slam with dart tick
My whole thing with the healers vs support name debate is that while yes there is a lot of effectiveness they provide in ways outside of healing, at the end of the game, what’s the ONE THING that’ll be mentioned about your gameplay? Your healing. No ones gonna say they could’ve been saved with speed boost (in fact I’ve been cussed out for that one), no one’s gonna say a discord orb saved them (I’ve also been cussed out for that one), it’s all about how well you kept the team alive and the best way to account for that for the player is the healing numbers
I admit I take quick play serious sometimes but it’s only because I can’t play ranked with my friend because the difference in rank doesn’t allow it but I never message in game I keep it to myself
Last 2 were great

i actually like push quite a lot cause it rewards winning fights consistently i also just like how the fights turn out and the strategic aspect of saving up your ult or where to position.
Control i completely despise cause it's way too short and you can win a round by winning like 2-3 fights
and i like payload but sometimes stupid stuff happens like you winning 4 fights in a row on defense but the enemy team got a single good attack on kings row so too bad now the enemy got a big progression into the objective.
attack is fine i just like push more generally
You just made me like push maps
You can win the game by winning 2-3 fights on push though like flats said
@@parajon generally push is decided by winning the most teamfights
I've rarely noticed a game of push where the team who won less teamfights wins
If one team won 3 fights in a row and then the enemy team keeps winning one fight losing the other then yes they rightfully lost cause they won less fights overall troughout the game
You know, ever since I first played the game some years back, I've always thought Winston's ult was INCREDIBLY underwhelming. A cybernetically enhanced gorilla, raging hard, using all his strength...! Does like 40 damage. What. Even.
It's funny how that lucio main guy also looks like lucio xD
We need Quickplay, Unranked, and Ranked. Quickplay for casuals, Unranked for tryhard casuals, and ranked for those who just wanna climb
The reason I sometimes tryhard in qp is bc you need to win games for the weekly challenges. I don’t want to play comp just to get them done
For me, Quick Play is ranked lite because I have to do these challenges to get this battle pass finished and most of the weekly require me to win the match. So arcade has become the who cares it's arcade.
The only reason I played seriously in quick play at all, was for unlocking ranked initially, and later unlocking Ramattra (yes I unlocked him that way) where it specifically needed wins and not games played. Had it been play set number of games to unlock, I would have been the biggest chaotic Dumbass you’ve ever seen, but because it needed wins, I took it a bit more seriously
NGL, nothing feels better than forcing someone off a counter pick. If I'm in a Torbjorn mood, and I'm melt the tank, so one of them plays Torb, so I make it my mission to bully that person, and then they switch off Torb... Bro, nothing feels better.
i wish someone would tell the moiras on my team they’re healers
Sending a message is how me and the boys used to play old overwatch. We werent good, but when one player on the other team started griefing, or trolling, or whatever, we'd all make that one guy's life a living hell. Who cares about the point lol.
To be fair pressing X on bastion is absolutely worthless because no one hears boop beep boop and knows that means turn and look at me I need healing.
Figured id give my 2 cents on the healer support thing
The job of supports isn't to heal you, it's to keep you alive, and there's a difference. Yes healing you keeps you alive, but you know what else does:
Sleep dart
Boop/speed boost
Killing the thing killing you
Etc.
You can be a support without healing, but healing is a way to support
that last one about counterpicking is all well and good until you play zen into a ball (and sombra/genji/tracer). there's literally no mathematical way for a zenyatta to win a 1v1 against a ball. even if you land every single discorded headshot, a half decent ball will beat you every time. they slam down (you're too slow to move out of their range), and then just left click you while you're falling. unless they seriously fuck up, or you get another teammate to help you, there's literally no way for you to win that interaction. i wish you could win, but it's physically impossible to.
4:14 ESPECIALLY SHAMBALI! That map is a pain in the ass to play on
If half their kit is to maintain people alive and fill up their healthbar then calling them healers is not really far off.
I think a lot of the people who are intent on calling support healers (not all, but esp in lower ranks) as like an opinion, are probably people who dont play support and think they're just afk healing the whole game. The same people who dive the backline, get killed by the support, and then rage at their own support for not healing them through it lol
Specific example because we had an enemy Echo recently who kept diving our backline and me and my friend (supports) kept killing them. And they blamed their own support for not somehow healing them through that lmao
No we just think it's not a big deal, and also that hilariously the misconception about "Healer = someone who only heals" is spread out by the people who insisting on this distinction so hard, rather than those who just call supports healers. It's not even true in MMOs, not in all of them at least.
Guess that means 76 is a healer now thanks to biotic field
Guess that means Mei is a tank and a support thanks to wall and freeze/slow, sombra is a support because she can hack people and stop them using their abilities, even cancel their ults with hers, symmetra is a support and a tank because she has a teleporter and a massive map wide shield, zenyata is a dps because he does big damage, Doomfist is support because he can stun the entire enemy team in 1 punch which can even cancel their ults, Orissa is support because she can stun people out of things with her spear and the list goes on and on... See how these shitty definitions for character roles don't actually work? All the support characters are healers, healing is a primary function of all their kits. That isn't their only function, and some of them are better at other things than they are at healing, but healing is apart of how they all support their team.
If you say "I need healing" and no supports are nearby it says "no healers nearby" in team chat😭
SOMEHOW still gets flamed for no healing 😂
Because other people besides support can heal?
Pulling out Pharah when you see an Ashe/Soldier>>>>>
Or maybe the monkeys is that we are getting diddy kong
Supports should be called supports because damage dealing is inherently part of their kit like zen, ana and bap
Especially Zen and Bap as you can heal at max output and add damage at the same time without drawbacks or very little. At most Bap drawbacks is aiming from team to enemy very fast. Zen your straight throwing if your not giving the enemy your balls
Time to call tanks juggernauts instead of tank.
