Newbern was a GREAT find for Superman when Daly couldn't do it, but Daly is THE Superman voice As for Harley, same thing (even if not to the same degree). Arleen voiced Harley through Arkham Asylum from her inception, which spans about seventeen years. Even still, it's more about the quality; Sorkin's adaptation is THE Harley voice, as great a VA as Strong is (and she is)
You have Andrea Romano to thank for the amazing cast. She was the casting director for every DCAU show and movie, but also Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, even Avatar the Last Airbender and Spongebob! Look up just about any cartoon from the 1984 onward and you'll see her name attached to it!

Thank you for posting this. I'm always a little surprised by just how many Clancy Brown fans their are and i guess i shouldn't be since he has a wide ranging body of work but for me his best role/character is John Danzinger from EARTH 2.
Yeah. Just shave his head and his beard and you'd get the ultimate Lex Luthor. However, I'm confident that Jesse Eisenberg will be flawless as Lex Luthor. I mean, his roles in "Now You See Me" and "The Social Network" are essentially demo reels for his onscreen persona as Lex Luthor.
Allow me to now explain why Kevin is the best Batman. He gets it. All three Waynes died in that alley. Bruce was killed too. From that moment, he WAS Batman. Bruce Wayne IS the act. There was a scene in Batman Beyond, when Shriek was projecting his voice into Bruce's head, trying to drive him crazy. When Terry asked how Bruce knew he wasn't going nuts, Bruce proclaimed that he never calls himself Bruce in his head. He insinuates that he calls himself Batman. Your actors come and go, but, until the day I die, Conroy is Batman, Clancy is Luthor, and Hamill is Joker. The rest just stopped by.

Batman is the true self, and the real hero. Clancy was making a joke about how "Lex doesn't suffer from the same schizophrenia" as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He was talking about Lex's resolve and committment to his ideals that make him a self assured and enduring foil for Superman and the others.
Honestly the fokes who did the justice league and justice league unlimited, batman, superman voice ARE the best. I just wonder what change perfect voice actors cause I've seen pretty much every single DC animated film and nothing beats their voices (you can't replace kevin Conroy, Mark Hamil and Clancy). And Lex Luthor is evil and every time I hear his voice (be it in avatar the last air bender; not that great but he was awesome) it's scary (his next best role was playing sinister in x men).
Honestly I can't decide between the two. I think both did an awesome job voicing Superman. As long as one of them voices Superman for any future version, I am satisfied.
Also don't forget Phil Lamarr as Green Lantern (Jon Stewart), Carl Lumbly as Martian Manhunter, Maria Canals as Hawkgirl, Michael Rosenbaum as Flash (Wally West), and Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn.

Plus Arleen Sorkin as Harley. Bruce Timm and his team always got it right. I understand DC's need to experiment with different voice actors, but at the same time I think they're wasting their time when the definitive voices are still alive and well.
