There are multiple instances in which her actions are on par with how most Kings and Queens would respond, things any other ruler would've done, but you only hear about how "awful it is" and "oh god, she's turning mad(!)" when she does it. I've seen a lot of people have this mentality of "if she does anything wrong, obviously she's going crazy". Essentially, they're taking away her humanity factor because they can't process that someone who we're told throughout seven seasons might turn crazy, could possibly make any mistakes or do wrong things like every other character in the show because they take it as a sign of madness instead of what it actually is.

@@baronhomer1 long response ahead, apologies in advance.
Because realism and overland travel are integral parts of GRRMs Westeros. For the first four seasons, navigation, geography and mobility were extremely important narrative devices. Things happened to characters because of the travel they needed to do. It sent their stories on different, less predictable trajectories. Even the red wedding only occurred because Rob needed to move his army from one place to another. Not only does it make the world feel lived in, it's part of why the battles earlier on in the series felt so important and why the results felt deserved; because positioning and planning was so important to their strategies. Armies are hard to hide and take time to get places. That's why tranportation matters in medieveal settings.
Without GRRMs writing to fall back on, D&Ds battles feature Sansa somehow teleporting the Vale Knights to Winterfell through 1) Frey-controlled Riverlands, 2) The Neck, defended by crannogmen, 3) Moat Cailin, which is held by the Boltons, the most defensible location of the North. 1000km+ within half a day.
The Lannister host teleporting across the country to Highgarden to catch the Tyrells off guard at the OPPOSITE end of their territory makes even less sense because not only would the Tyrells and their bannermen notice the huge ass army invading their territory, their Dornish allies who are directly to the east would have noticed this as well.
Euron's journey to Kings Landing without being spotted, leaving KL without being spotted to destroy Yara's fleet without being spotted, return to KL without being spotted, leaving KL without being spotted again to surprise Grey Worm's fleet across the continent is another example of this.

You guys daenaerys has been working up to this goal for the entire series ofc she’s not gonna drop everything to go deal with ice zombies, and keep in mind that dragons in this world are much more ‘real’ then the white walkers, the last dragons were seen a hundred or so years ago whereas the last white walkers were last seen thousands of years ago. Also she’s not as quick to violence as you’re assuming, she’s dealt with slavers (who have murdered and enslaved thousands of men, women and children) by crucifying one for each child they did, yet afterwards she vied for peace between the former slaves and masters, rather then enacting Justice on all of them. Any one that she has killed or hurt she has done so because they have betrayed or tried to kill her first. I think people misunderstand Brans appearance of being emotionless (even though you will catch him with a slight smile from time to time). But, I completely understood why he seems to lack emotions. It's the knowing all things. If he did not learn to rein in his emotions then him knowing all things would basically make him immobile and useless because he would constantly be battling with his emotions. With much knowledge comes sorrow. I think that's a Bible verse, but it's relevant in Brans situation. He knows and sees to much and so he HAS to build a wall up and remove his emotions from his thoughts or actions.

Dragons exist in the world of ASOIAF, the same way dinosaurs exist in our world. Sure, the last dragon prior to Daenerys' was born almost a century before and was the size of the lizard, but they existed recently enough and their bones are present enough to prove their existence - literally last episode had Qyburn fire a bolt into the skull of Balerion. It's why it's always funny when people complain about Daenerys not believing Jon about the Army of the Dead when she has dragons, because dragons aren't fiction in the world of ASOIAF - they exist just like our dinosaurs, whereas the Army of the Dead and the Night's King are practically folklore like the Boogeyman.

Like Cody says in the beginning "Weren't you just in the North?" this episode for me is where the problems of the last two seasons begin to be clearly noticable. Remember how earlier seasons showed characters on the road traveling. Getting from Winterfell to King's Landing, from King's Landing to the Middle or to the South etc took several episodes. Now they just skip traveling. The first two episodes set the players, in Winterfell, King's Landing and on Dragonstone. From there on the creators thought these two characters need to meet and let them magically appear at the same place, no matter where they were before. One scene Jon starts from Winterfell, the next scene arrives at the end of the travel. Olenna has to die? Let her just teleport into her castle.

it's not that the writers hated jaime, it's just they are lannister apologists in general so they are always going to go with the lannisters are sympathetic angle
notice how every lannister in this show is a lot more sympathetic than in the books, even tyrion himself which is the outlier (and i'm not just saying this because of that, they have literally said they love the lannisters the most)
regardless, i still like jaime in the books and show but it's safe to say their decisions concerning him was because they loved cersei/the lannisters and didn't want jaime turning his back on them
they see it as a positive while we see it as a negative, that's why

I will be honest and say from the start that I am a Dany stan but with that said I never understand why reactors want Dany to somehow be "nice" whern she is fighting a war against the baddest most evil Queen in Westeros. She is a Targaryen and has a claim to the iron throne but she turned herself into a Queen all on her own by being a bad bitch. I mean this is Game of Thrones where everyone is ready to slit a throuat or plot to slit someonone's throat and yet they want Dany to be nice or not be aggressive-which is something never said about any man in this series. As much as I like your reactions, I just find that take to be somewhat sexist.
