It's said life is a collection of experiences and intersections with people. The adversities, failures, conquests, and the people we experience them with are the fabric of our memories, and the very underpinning of the person we become.
Every year sportsmen from around the world migrate to the Alaskan wilderness,. Why? What are they seeking? Once there, what do they find?
For many, the testing of one's endurance while pursuing a trophy Dall ram, or glassing herds of caribou in search of a white-haired bull with heavy, sweeping antlers lures them to the Last Frontier. For others, it's a magazine image they saw as a child of a giant moose with a dinner table-sized rack standing in a still, mirror pond with regal, snowcapped mountains towering above in the distance. Some hunters long for a measure of danger; their desire is to experience bear country, and discover how they will react in it.
As a boy, Billy Molls dreamed of living the life of a mountain man. Three decades later, if only for a few moments each year, he does just that. This documentary offers candid insight into his journey, his time-honored perspective of conservation, the refinement of his worldview, and the experiences he shares with six hunters from various walks of life. What a joy for Father & Son. The way it started out, I am sure they had doubts with the bad weather. They sure came to life when they both got their bears ! Happy they could make the trip. Billy is the best there is....PERIOD !!!!1

I'm a fan of the channel, I'm a fan of Billy and the way he goes about things, but I think he would admit that this was a stretch with the distance and wind. I'm a fan of hunting and I support hunters, but this was a hard one to watch. Sometimes hunting isn't pretty.

Father and son together doing something they love is one great adventure they will never , never forget. And the sow to me would be just as great as the boar . I would bet my last dollar that these two men will always remember this trip. And it was you billy that make this hunt a great hunt. I really enjoyed this video . And like you I love my mountains.

As I watched your hunt and I hear you say that the father and son haven't shown any disappointment in taking a the two different bears. Billy is a lot like most men.
