- This request came in a month or so ago and I've been waiting for the opportunity to sit down and work it out. Finally today I was able to and while I'm still very husky voiced, I really enjoyed singing it. It's a gorgeous song, and it brought up so many emotions in me while I sang it. Love is such a magical, special thing and to really know it, to be honestly and truly loved by someone is the greatest feeling in the world. I'm lucky enough to have that in my life and I hope that you do as well.

Dearest Tara, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for singing this song. It is a "you" song, and I love your husky voice rendition - makes it even more special. I am in tears listening to this - it is truly a beautiful love song and it was the song my husband and I shared for 32 wonderful years. It brings back such nice memories of days we had together when he was healthy and life was good. It helps to focus on that, and not the sad memories towards the end of his illness. And the timing of this song showing up today is so meaningful. I sat with my friend of 50 years today, aside her dear father as he lay dying in hospice. I could feel her love for her father, and it was beautiful. She was with him every step of the journey. He was 98 and a lovely man that I had the pleasure to know all these many years. I am so grateful that he had a peaceful ending. I had so many thoughts and emotions today about life and love in all its many forms. I love my friend dearly, she is like a sister, and I was glad I could be with her and lend support, and honestly, share that sacred time that is about nothing else but love. That's all we can do - love and support each other. The love you put out in the world is what remains. That was made so clear to me with my husband's passing, and with what I experienced today. And by your singing. I am so glad that your life is filled with love. It must be, as your singing reflects it. And thank you for your kind words in the video. I am glad I requested this song too - I think it sparks a lot of emotion in you, in me, and in your followers as evidenced in the comments section. We all need some loving emotions to cancel out some of the harsh craziness in the world. Love and hugs and deep appreciation and gratitude to you. xoxo

Unknown by most, I would say, but one of Gordon Lightfoot's best true Love songs. Wonderful Job Ms Dunphy! Many will have tears.

They say greatness is the ability to make the difficult look easy. Usually pertaining to athletes (Kelly Slater Michael Jordan),but could be applied here. It was almost painful to watch Gordon perform this song later in his life. In this case, I just sit back enjoy and marvel at the performance. Thank you 😊

So many tears as you sang this. This has been my heart song to my wife for 38 years. I played it back when she had head/neck cancer surgery and I couldn’t recognize her in the hospital room. This is my song to my Maryanne. Thank you for singing this song❤
