Steve yelling "Stop it! Enough!" was so primal, felt that through all the nerve endings. This case really needs to be banished to the Shadow Realm.

ok the one good thing i will say about this case is that the anime adaptation IMMENSELY improves it. The love triangle is completely gone- they have to keep Trilo's ring as a piece of evidence, but there's no mention of marriage outside of it. So Max is therefore no longer a pedo, AND he comes off way better for assaulting Ben because of it! There's a bunch of other small changes, mostly to fit the anime runtime, but Max Moe & Regina are also much more enjoyable characters because of the changes to their personalities and actions. They also really lean in to the ridiculous nature of this case, which really works in its benefit IMO
JUDGE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT
This case really has me sighing deeply every time a new video comes up. And then I click it. The gang is just that good
in the midst of everything wrong with this case, i will say that the entire courtroom shouting “SILK HAT, CLOAK, WHITE ROSES!” is up there as one my favorite ace attorney gags in the series
Just... jail. The judge, the defendant, the witness, the defense, all of them. Jail.
"Can I get a ProZD Play Games supercut that's just them doing the lines?" I wanna see the opposite of that, no dialogue, all bits and tangents.
OH GOD I did NOT remember the Judge saying that, I actually shouted, "NO, NO, NO," out loud after that.
"So far, so good!" to "STOP IT! ENOUGH!" is such a mood. But surely the next witness couldn't possibly be as annoying! There's no way they'd have a gimmick that punishes you for trying to play the game! :^)

The legal marriable age in Japan was 16 for girls and 18 for boys at the time this case was released (it has since been moved up to 18 for both thank goodness). Although it doesn't make this case feel any less icky, it at least explains why they aren't being immediately arrested when they testify.
I just noticed that when Trilo's talking Ben's sprite has his mouth moving a tiny bit too. That's a pretty neat detail
I'll be honest - the commentary and shared pain are the only things keeping this case from being as miserable for us, as it likely was for you lads. Thank you for your service!
At least most of the gross stuff in this case is over now. Ben is honestly the worst part of this whole ordeal. I know people point to the next witness (who is very bad from a game mechanic standpoint, admittedly) as the worst part of this case, but I think having to listen to Ben be a creep is much tougher to get through.
The way Trillo's arms and head just pop off is so funny
