Honorable mentions that didn't make the video:
- WORST: Gingham Unscented (aka Unstoppable). It was so unremarkable I had completely forgotten about it.
- BEST: Vanilla Coconut Surf. It was a Candle Day replenishment collection, so not sure if it qualifies for a true Spring 2024 release.

Main Street Bakery could be a top favorite of the entire year for me! It's fantastic!!!!!!!
That’s my 16 year old son’s favorite. Every time I go he’s like mom get me that Bakery candle lol

Daffodil Daydreams smelled so nice but it needed to be like 20x stronger than what it was😑
I couldn’t handle Queen Charlotte’s Tea. Mine smelled neither like a literal tea nor gave the ambiance of an afternoon tea in a garden. I bought Lady Danbury’s Shortbread off your rec after not liking it on cold, and I’m glad I did! I agree whole-heartedly on multiple candles being light enough to return.
Right on point Kent with all mentioned. I just don't get the lack of throw on some of these BBW candles, i.e. Daffodil Daydreams - just a bummer. And the Danbury Shortbread is just so damn good!! Thanks
"Hate candle burn" - love that! Main St Bakery was a constant cotton-ball effort for me, although I loved the fragrance. So much work to get the wicks to burn. I agree with your best picks, though. Thanks

Coconut piña colada is so good to me, I bought 15 of it over several sales. I also bought 3 Main St. bakery and two Danberry shortbread. Those are my top three.

Almost missed danbury shortbread bc its cold was boring. Glad I reconsidered! BBW broke my bank this spring lol. Waaay too many were beautiful looking, smelled lovely, but had poor to terrible throw. But the ones I did like I found myself swooning. And most that I love I didn't feel much for until burning them!
I love Book Loft! I have super high ceilings too!
Danberry shortbread was my favorite of spring also. Already got my backups.
Omgosh now I have to try the bridgerton shortbread candle, I do have Main Street but haven’t burned it yet. I love banana I didn’t know it was banana prominent I will light that tonight and probably will need 10 backups lol. I can’t wait for berry waffle cone I’m low I only have 7 lol. On Reddit I read about the dirty soul bath co., having dupe for boardwalk marshmallow clouds that’s in my cart right now. I too have the body spray also the lotion but that has turned to an ugly color but still smells good. Anyways thanks for all this info now I’m ready to go!
Boardwalk and cotton candy clouds are the same scents and cotton candy clouds is coming for sas. $3.95 price point

Love your reviews! Always an entertaining experience. Gingham Unstoppable was my worst. I couldn’t smell it for anything and so it got returned.
I bought two Book Loft off the bat then saw your review. Afterwards, I decided to try it for myself. I loved it and I thought it was strong, but in a soft welcoming way. I was like I don’t know what Kent is talking about, this is great! 😄
Great video! 🙂 Danbury Shortbread is hoardworthy. I liked Diamond of the Season. It was pleasant and I got one for my sister and one for my mom.
Thanks Kent. I loved wild rose and suede, Diamond of the season (peachy grapefruit to me) and daffodil daydreams. Mainstreet bakery is a great one! After loving the hand sanitizer in Bridgerton study I got a couple candles. Love the sweet spiciness. Danbury shortbread was better in wallflower to me(less almond). I loved the sanitizer of queen charlotte so ordered a candle today to have. Anxious for your thoughts on the SAS merch❤
Daffodil daydream is my biggest spring disappointment too. It’s so beautifully packaged & smells amazing but the throw is so light, the candle couldn’t translate into a stellar candle.
My faves were backyard honeysuckle bc we haven’t had a simple honeysuckle scent in so long.
Plus I love Wisteria Garden in every form, except candle. I didn’t buy the candle bc I didn’t want to chance a weak throw. But the soap, wallflower, & sanitizer are amazing bursts or grapes & flowers
The Wisteria Garden candle is nice.

I guess I was lucky with a good pour... Daffodil Daydreams was strong for me! 🐰 I totally agree with your take on Diamond of the Season. I was underwhelmed. I wish it had been a bit more dazzling. My #1 would be Main Street Bakery hands down! 😋 But Queen Charlotte's Tea is def #2, or a tie for #1. Actually, I totallly agree with your top candle picks with the exception of Danbury Shortbread which might be #4 or replaced off list by Daffodil Daydreams, for me. Btw, I love your "hate burn" phrase! What a phenomenon! 🤣🤣🤣
As was mine! It had medium strength and high throw. A perfect spring candle by all accounts. It performed so well that I bought three more. I also love the fragrance mist. It is strong! I have no problems smelling it on my clothes and linens for hours and days sometimes. I love my Daffodil Daydreams. I hope they bring it back next year... And keep the name as is. 😊
Now I must get Main Street bakery. On cold I was like eh but I love banana pudding. Danbury Shortbread and Pina Colada are favorites of mine as well
Ginger and Hinoki was super disappointing for me. I even put it in a crock! I had to be right beside it. I agree with all your misses. ❌️⭕️
I also loved Danbury and Pina Colada. Other faves were Sweet Orange Agave and Vanilla Coconut Surf aka Santorini Coast. Biggest dud was Calypso Clementine. I'm just starting to burn the Asian Pacific line and my Ginger was also unscented.
Bridgerton Study, for me, was the WORST. In store it was repulsive to me and darn close to disgusting.
All the gourmand scents were good, with each having their own charm.
For me, the BEST new candle this year is Greenhouse Fern.

I am very picky about what I will return to a store. If I just don't like a scent, I will not return it because it is due to my personal preferences so I don't feel the store should take the loss over my preferences. I take the loss and try to find someone I know who likes the scent better. If a candle is completely unscented, I will return it because I feel the product is defective, which is on the store. I can't even like or dislike a scent which I can not even smell. I also think in those cases, returns help with feedback, letting the company know where they have to rework a product, while individual preferences don't in the same way.
Iam not spending a lot of money anymore on candles unless I know the throw status like the hunkunah candle love it
Mainstreet Bakery was a mess. Discolored wax, puny wicks, I had to pour off wax and the scent made me queasy. So many people loved it but it was a total miss for me.
I've burned multiple and loved all of them! Sorry to hear yours was bad, I know how that goes.
Mind did not get suddy. Loved coconut colada. I MISS TROPICALBLISS WHICH HAS A SMOKEY VANILLA I NEED IT. TIB IS THE SUMMER VERSION OF WINTER WHITE WOODS OR THT OTHER ONE BIRCH VANILLA TYPE WOODSY CANDLE.
I like Main street bakery, dont get me wrong but the banana wasn't as prominent to me as id hoped. It smells very butterey to me. Irregardless, id like a backup
