I have the "taco" gizmo and indeed it would be clutter if I used it for tacos. However, I keep one on my nightstand to hold my glasses, my phone, and a spare flashlight within easy reach. I keep another one on my coffee table for the remotes and my reading glasses. Works for me, easy to find items quickly.

All great uses for these. You just changed my mind.
Here is a tip for the ice molds. Freeze juice in them and drop them into your favorite adult beverage. Peach juice and Bourbon. Pineapple juice in rum. Cranberry juice in vodka. You get great flavor without it watering down.

Efferent works great on rusted water stains in your toilet. I'm a custodian, and I do it to toilets all the time.
Reminded me of a funny story - my best friend always had dentures tablets in his bathroom. I was aware that he had a drug problem as a young man so I assumed he wore dentures. I never asked, it was such a personal matter. I had a good laugh at myself when I learned he used them in the toilet! 🤣

We use those taco stands every time we have taco. Makes it so much easier to make tacos without the filling falling out. Also, we have a daughter with special needs and it definitely makes it easier for her to pick up and put down her taco. Definitely recommend.

Denture tablets also work great for cleaning gold jewelry! The bubbles get everything out of all the nooks, and your pieces will SPARKLE!!

I use denture cleaners all the time to deep clean my husband's Stanley thermos and to clean our coffee pot. I use two for the big thermos and two in the coffee pot. Fill them up with hot water and then add the denture cleaner. After about half an hour, empty out and rinse well. (and if your thermos is really stained, the denture cleaner should loosen what is corroded on the inside enough for you to use a bottle brush to clean it out. You might have to do this more than once if it is really corroded). Thanks for this tips and tricks! Rose

I used to sell makeup as a side hustle. I always went to Dollar Tree for small gift bags, blank cards, and other little gifts to put together with the products ordered. I would hand write thank you notes in the cards. There's just something about hand written notes and letters. That's why the stamps were my favorite.

I’ve tried so many things over the years to keep shoes from smelling. Last year I sprayed the inside of my shoes with a mist of alcohol. It got rid of the odor like nothing I’d tried before. So if I start smelling any odor I just give the inside a quick spritz and it’s gone. As it’s alcohol it dries quickly and when you have shoes you can’t wash or soak in water it really is great.
Do you add anything to the alcohol or just straight up? I wonder if rubbing alcohol is isopropyl alcohol would work ...v
@@juliabrown5948 I just use it straight. I put a sprayer from a spray bottle I had on the alcohol bottle. I usually buy the 91% alcohol, but I have used the 70% once. I’ve used OdorBan, Febreeze, and foot sprays but the alcohol is the only thing that truly worked.
Yes, I would like to know the answer to the pliers question as well. That sounds much easier.
I got one package of the taco holders just to hold the shells up while stuffing them. Bonus that my preschool granddaughter likes to put small items in them when she counts. They also use them with play dough. They drive matchbox cars under and around them as well. I count them as a good buy for my household.

Another tip for fruit flies is to pour boiling water down your drains. I do all the drains in the house at the same time. Last year I never seen any.
The flies you are killing are drain flies. They look very much like fruit flies but they're not the same thing. You will kill drain flies with hot boiling water but that will not get rid of fruit flies
Fruit flies... glass filled with vinegar, dawn, and water. Everyone i know, including my clients, uses this method, and it works!! MO@mes373
Yes fruit flies can also nest in drains (they’re different from drain flies though both are annoying lol).
Early in the morning before it gets light pour the boiling water down the drain and you’ll kill more of them.

We love our taco stands. It beats having the tacos constantly fall over on the plate. They stack, so it's really not that much clutter for us. :)

I got some games from TEMU for our vbs. Some targets and spoon/egg race and 3 legged race. Really cheap
I bought a set of the taco holders. They’re smaller than the bulky one my husband bought at Walmart. Plus, you can tuck them away on their side and they take up less room that way. I think they’re great! I do love the medallion idea! That one is a winner! You could also take one of the larger clear frames and attach a couple of clear adhesive hooks at the bottom and make an iPad holder that you can watch while preparing dinner.
OMGOODNESS YOU ARE A GENIUS!!!! Like you have no idea, we just spent $6000 to get our house painted I bought a new ceiling fan for our patio my husband installed it before the guys came & for what reason he did not change the circle that goes around the ceiling fan they ended up painting the two that had the lights in it but not the one that the ceiling fan comes out of and I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what to do and seriously something from the dollar store?!?! I love the taco stands. I bought several of them. They are great when putting together street tacos. They stack and store nicely without taking up much space. I definitely don't consider them clutter, because I actually use them. They are really great for kids as well. I love the mirror repurpose idea. Any little tweaks that will give me the craftsman style look I'm all for it.

You know...those taco stands would make great sunglasses holders also, on a hallway table...maybe not that bright yellow, but spray paint it!
Denture tabs are great for retainers - to keep them fresh.
The tongue scraper is perfect for those who use steroid inhalers for asthma. It really helps prevent thrush.
And denture cleaning tablets are great for cleaning and sanitizing water bottles. Pop one in and fill the bottle with warm water. Let it sit 15 minutes. Then with the lid on, turn it upside down for another 15 minutes. I leave the straw in it but remove it for the upside down part. Just rinse thoroughly.
Those paper plate caddies have actually been around since the 70's !😮

I do use the taco holder. I know it sounds extra, but specially for those times when folks are making their meal in once place and moving to another. When I am in charge of making taco for other folks, is so easy to use them and not have to fumble to make sure they dont fall over and seems to cut down on breakage till first bite.

We got some taco holders for a Taco Bar birthday party. The holders fit on the paper plates, beans and rice were on the plates too without making the taco shells soggy!!

I don’t wear dentures, but I purchase denture tablets all the time! They are so useful for cleaning calcium deposits on glassware! I especially like using them for vases and bottles that are difficult to clean. There has to be 100 uses for denture tablets besides cleaning dentures.
The taco stands are fine if you have one at each place setting.

I have the Taco stand and LOVE them. Being from Texas I make and eat a lot of street-style tacos and use mine all the time. Keeps my tacos from falling apart flip it over and it holds 2 tacos. They are also great for holding other foods like little sandwiches for kids and cookies for portion control. Sorry kiddo the cookie holder only holds 3 cookies! LOL

You could use the taco thing as a spoon holder on your stove to organize phones by charges or put it by a sink to hold sponges even a hole in it to hold sponges so that the water can leak through. I’m sure you would think of so many other uses.

What you just showed for the hook regarding the glasses. I use the taco holders for my glasses.. I have an accessory drawer, where I keep all my jewelry and eye wear. Using some thread organizers, and wire stands allow me to store everything in one place really well.
I've had the taco holders for years and use them once a week. They really help hold hard shell tacos upright so they aren't flopping over and spilling everything out.

The denture cleaners are terrific for cleaning the inside of your stainless steel water bottles, especially if you use the containers for coffee or anything else that isn’t water. Just drop them in and fill the container with water and leave for a while.
i have SIX OR EIGHT of those taco hodlers in my cabinet right now, we use them EVERY Tuesday. it holds the taco up when making & helps keep down the tipping over, making a mess with salsa sour cream and tomatoes everywhere. we love ours!
I use an empty water bottle put about 1/4 apple cider vinegar in it leave the lid off let it sit by the kitchen sink for a few days . Change the vinegar every few days. The flys are attracted to the smell. It works .
Love both ideas for ceiling medallions, but you need a larger one for the plaster one as too much of it is hidden from view. I like the decoupage paper idea on the other one! Creative!

Those taco stands are nice for Taco Tuesdays, but only as you load your shells. After that you're right back to using a plate for all the side goodies like beans, rice and elote'. Cute colors and super easy for kids and outdoor buffet/BBQ style plate loading. Mine are silver metal and I don't use them as often as I thought I would...
I'll have to try this trick for his shoes as well! My boyfriend is a Law Enforcement Officer, and his work boots are really stinky when he finally makes it home after 12+ hours. I've also put the Downy Calm Lavender/Vanilla Bean dryer sheets in his boots. I love all these tips and tricks!
Yes I used the taco stand when I made tacos and it added a great touch to my set up. It made everything so neatly put together.
I would never have purchased tacos stands but I received them as a gift. Now we use them every time with tacos! The kids love them and it makes it easy to make all the tacos at once. Mine are dishwasher safe and beautiful ❤️
I use ice molds to freeze leftover herb or black tea and use for iced tea or other flavoured drinks. Great option if you make Long Island Iced tea. You can add frozen fruit juice to Sangria or punch. Doesn’t water down the drinks.

We have the metal taco holders. They are great to load with tortillas, bake, and then add your amazing ingredients. Anything from carnitas, fish, shrimp, taco meat, etc. In Texas we put everything in a tortilla!
I love what you did with the light fixture in the “Narnia” room. I Love that book. I remember in middle school, I had to create a 3D book cover for a favorite book and I chose The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe. I love how you added some charm to it, to go with the whole rooms’ theme.

I bought a pack of six taco stands on Amazon for way more than that. And they are an absolute must for my hello fresh taco meals. I love them. It feels like I'm at a restaurant and I don't have the anxiety of trying to make them and having them flop and spill all over the plate.

I don’t have the dollar tree version but I have taco holders from Walmart and my husband uses them every time we have tacos. Makes preparing them super easy.
