Film description: For five years after the Decepticon invasion of Chicago, the Autobots were granted sanctuary into the Earth. Believing they are a threat, they were secretly eliminated by an elite CIA unit with the help of a Transformer bounty hunter, Lockdown. Because of this, Optimus Prime has since lost his faith in humanity after the ambush that caused his injury and even considers leaving the planet until Cade Yeager, a mechanic, convinces him to reconsider his faith in humanity after helping him slightly recover. Together with his family, they join the Autobots to exterminate the bounty hunter, the reincarnated Megatron, and the Cemetery Wind.

I would be a lot better if this movie was about NEST as a resistance group and a resistance movement against cemetery wind, TRF and M.E.C.H, and the main characters Lennox and Epps and the human villain Silas.
Lennox and Epps were separated from the Autobots because of the ambush. So the two soldiers had to run home and tell their families to leave or Cemetery Wind would kill them.

2:05-2:12 why is in the movies the helicopters are always terrible shooters? I cant believe those missiles all missed Prime and didn't even hit him.
Knowing the Transformers being vastly technologically superior, I think Prime (after spending so much time around humans and their weapons) have some sort of ECM that is literally perfect due to the tech gap. This makes anything but dumb missiles, bombs and grenades not work.
They have the stormtrooper aim.
He is the main character what do you expect?
They want him dead, but not destroyed. They're trying to corral him with the missiles and constrain his movements, so they can lock him down, take him in, and dismantle him piece by piece.
The main theme of AOE is Righteousness... and The Autobots are Cade's second family

Evasion mode optimus was able to knock out lockdown by hanging him on another hook for quite sometime, but when prime got his new body upgrade he was struggling to fight lockdown in the last fight, it was bcs optimus did now know much abt his new abilities, like was able to fly later in the movie and when he was lifting the sword of judgment he got his arms upgraded too. He is still getting to know what the new design is capable of
cap. Evasion moide Optimus never beat Lockdown at all. Knight form never struggled to learn his new abilites. Lockdown bullied both Optimus

Cemetery Wind & Lockdown wouldn’t stand a chance.
And the Avengers received Optimus’ distress message then initiated a search and rescue for Optimus and the Autobots, and were able to save Ratchet and Leadfoot.
