@@plantainsame2049 ok you’re right about that but adding new weapons with without explaining them isn’t also good for the story. Take for example, Optimus prime. After finding a new truck model, Optimus prime scans it and thus, reverts back to his knight form tho, him having a knight form was never explained, having the community being confused and while I agree that some scenes with the knight form are badass, that doesn’t mean I agree on why he made that change. It doesn’t fit with the storyline. If they showed us a scene of them on cybertron with Optimus prime being a knight, the story would have been easier to explain.

Granted I don't like age of extinction as much as previous Transformers movies, it still has moments like this that are pretty badass.

I love how both Lockdown and Galvatron did almost the same entrance, walking towards the opponent, shooting and bringing something that is significant. Lockdown walking towards Optimus, transforming his head into his signature cannon, and shot a high velocity bullet, with Nemesis behind him. While Galvatron transformed, destroying and killing civilians in the way, and proceeded to walk towards Prime, and shot the group with his arm cannon, his transformation sequence being entirely different from the rest, Transformium.

T2: The fallen is on earth 18,000 B.C not looking for the cube but trying to harvest energon? He later is in control of a decimated cybertron and sends megatron to earth present day in which he arrives thousands of years in the past? They also have babies or "hachlings" that need energon to grow.
T3: Sentinel prime makes a deal with Megatron 60 years prior to present day to go to earth and enslave it's people to rebuild their planet? Teleports Cybertron to earth where it looks like it implodes in a singularity?
T4: Organic aliens built the transformers 65,000,000 years ago? They want Optimus back because reasons?

What "Galvatron", there's only a trashcan that's posing as him in this movie. Real Galvatron had purple armor, had an orange fusion cannon, and transformed into a turrent.

This movie was not as good as the first 3. However, Bay never disappoints with the action! The camera work gets criticised a lot, however I feel it is extremely effective with regards to emphasising scale. Also, Lockdown has to be the single best part about this movie. Everything else was forgettable apart from him. His arc is so interesting and his design is awesome!

I absolutely lost my shit in the theater when I heard Galvatron speak and I realized it was his original voice actor from the G1 cartoons. Hugo Weaving did an amazing job but Frank Welker IS megatron. It was amazing to hear him and Peter Cullen back together for this movie

Thats the the thing, the transformers themselves are bad ass & make up for the horrible acting of the actors & bad plots. They really need to focus on the transformers or write good story lines for the humans.

the sound lockdown makes when he has that mask on while just walking towards optimus is just so fucking terrifying.
I love how Lockdown is supposed to be this kickass bounty hunter with his own fully staffed ship, awesome weaponry, the resources to capture and hold the dinobots, and access to a bomb of pure cybertronian metal (I refuse to call it... that), but when he finally captures Optimus Prime, he uses... a big net. Not a tractor beam, not even some kind of plasma net or something. Just a big physical net. And upon closer inspection, it doesn't even look like metal or chain or anything. It looks like a Earth fishing net made of nylon threads. Where did you get that net, Lockdown?! Where did you get it?!
Also, that scar on his face is just constantly flipping sides for every shot of this movie.
