- I just bought this ski and trailer got a good deal bought it not running and had it running in no time found and fixed couple small things now waiting on new parts for exhaust to get her out on the water more videos to follow. SHADYAFTERMATH 2020.

hey man, gas gauge probably does work, just a bad f1 fuse in the Baffle Pick-Up! i fixed mine with a 2$ fuse. really easy. time consuming, but easyto fix. i fix my 1996 & 2000 gtx with the same problem. In the process of restoring a 97 xp so, ill eventually do the same to my xp
Yea I got it strait and was quick fix but lot to get to and I went on replaced all fuel lines at same time and I just bridged the fuse gap with solder
Great Ski Design best in my humble opinion I have the 99 951XP Limited ,,,the fuel gauge ....your ski may be subject to Recall the Fuel Cell .....my 94 XP is ....may want to check the Magnet in Fuel Tank (cell) replace the grey lines with Stainless etc .... you scored a Gem ...there ...
I pulled the fuel sending unit and repaired the fuse on circuit board and replaced all fuel lines and gauge works great now

If you do not change your selector valve what's a good one design for the new fuel and change all of those old gray fuel lines also do a pressure check and check your tank valve you will fry that motor I have been doing these for over twenty years you don't want to miss anything otherwise you will be buying a motor and another one and another one and another one
Make sure you change all your fuel lines do a pressure fuel test do all the necessary things or it will just fry the motor
Changed all fuel lines and pulled out the pump and fixed that fuse that blows so the fuel sender would work

I bought it not running the guy said maybe simple maybe not I gave 900$ for it with a almost new trailer title to both and runs great

My exhaust boots are broke. Does any boot fit? What did you use
i ended up going to a place that sells wet exhaust hose and belts and things like that he cut me a small section and gave it to me but they also sell them on ebay

@@michaelhakes5845 also can try a boat sales and parts place ask for what size you need wet exhaust hose buy it by the foot.

It adjust the front of machine up or down for the best ride for the conditions trims it out

I sold mine in early march and got me a 2016 rxtx 300 it the xp was fun but unstable easy to roll it over just even getting on it.
