Hearing a mishima player complain about 50-50s is hilarious, its okay though the salt gets to us all.
Why? Most characters in the game have great 50/50s. Maybe as a Kazuya player this is funnier, but not all Mishimas.
He said the same shit in the video, he already acknowledged salt is incredibly unreasonable but we all do it, can't pretend.

I can understand TMM, I love playing him for the throws, it be like that. Ggs to both of you, now what I would really like to strive for is be an Armor King like that.
Armor King is one of the characters I love to see in ranked, even if I get my shit mixed. It's better than the thousandth sweaty Feng or spammy 2 bar Law

Eh, I'm a Feng main but I've used him since Tag 2. He was the first character I learnt to play the game properly with alongside King.

@@bloodyjar3273 yeah, I can agree that there are some players who jump to certain characters based on how strong that character is and use them annoyingly. But, it's part of the game. If it wasn't Feng, or any other top tier character for that matter, it would be another.

Well generally speaking, you should learn throw breaks against literally every other character since you can react to their hands.
@@AfroKing. as an ak main, trust me learning throw breaks do not help against king and AK. since they break the rules of throw breaking.
out of wave dash you can do 1/2/1+2 throws that look.. double handed. for example: Crouch dash qcb1+2 and Cd1+4 are two different breaks and they look exactly the same.

@@aramil_0 there’s like basic amounts of risk to throwing it goes for every character. A single sidestep, backdash, ducking. Keep out moves like Lee b4 Asuka b3 Chloe uf3 josie uf3 Bryan 3+4 king uf1 armor king b1+4 Steve duck stance and so on. But it’s minimalistic risk. Not a lot.

His complains are exactly the same as me lol. I hate playing against kings and they are everywhere. Also ranked is so stressful. I became fujin with Lars and Leroy and i quit doing ranks ever again. Rulers are full of top rank players who have insanely defence. I got lucky getting to fujin.

7:10 actaully as a ruler rank its the opposite for me if i go against a someone with high rank main i try play better and overall if i lose i lose in a good way other rulers are giving me cancer most of the times

Breaking throws is so much harder than just blocking, nobody can convince me throws aren't cheesey as hell. Using throws is a cheese crutch in every rank

@@R1C4RD0R3D15 I understand the cheesy natures of throws, but how are they true 50/50s? You gotta get hit by the throw first which are highs for the most part, and you get another chance at breaking them after.
@@KyokoUltimate Because armor king's and king's throws can only be broken by 1 of three potential inputs. I believe its actually worse than a 50/50, and would be a 33% chance of breaking it. You need to guess which input to use, and I don't believe there is any way to know which one it is a the time they use it.
Yeah but that's the whole point of a grappler lol. Doing a throw (which can ducked or sidestepped) is a commitment in itself; you can easily be launched for attempting it. And then the one being grabbed STILL has a chance of breaking it. Also, there's a vid out there of JDCR in rank consistently breaking this King's shining wizard/giant swing mixups. It's not easy, but it's possible to react to the hand height/speed at which it comes out (between GS and SW), the distance at which they attempt the throw if their inputs aren't clean, and the situation in which they attempt the throw (back to wall, facing wall, etc.) which makes it not 'total' RNG
In my tekken 7 ps4 region, I have like a Group, where people kinda know each other by name or personal stats, half of them where eddy bc its a character from my country, its kinda depressing but cool at the same time

I play ranked at Eternal Ruler and can barely ever find players when I have time to play during the week. Most of the time they're not within one rank from me either.
To be fair I had the most fun going against tgp mighty ruler alts as I felt like I learnt a lot from each one, I'd rather dm someone like that then some 1 and done rando ruler. (when I was that rank)
IMO, Tekken matchups should be based on Prowess not Rank.
I don’t know if that would work. You can get a bunch of prowess just by playing different characters (at least I think so), so you can end up getting double the prowess of a player that is a character loyalist, even if they’re a better Tekken player.
I think ranked would be better if 2 matches minimum with the same player were required. A lagger would be annoying, but it would clean up the amount of people getting carried by never rematching players that beat them (or almost beat them), so it would be more reflective of skill.
@@2lowkey100 yeah injustice was like this. In ranked it forced FT2 but all it did was make people rage quit exceptionally more. That would only work if they actually implemented a punishment for rage quitters.

the term 50/50 is vague and misleading , they are 90/10 to new players 70/30 to intermediate , 60/40 to the elites , with arlsan , knee khan or meo-il even devilster and xhk-asad this is where a 50/50 is bound to 50% failure

I’d rather get hit by a throw than a low that leads to a combo, I’m bias as a grappler player but throw chains have a chance to be broken every step of the way but a combo from a launcher you just have to sit and watch
Low launchers are pretty rare though but im guessing you cant block snake edge on reaction

As a person in ruler, I can say he is 100% right, 80% of my matches are against TG+s using their off chars, I needed to take a break because of how tired I was getting.

Yeah since I hit fujin on both xbox and ps4 I kept getting matched up with gods on secondaries. It is torture. I stopped playing rank every since. Rank in 8 needs to show me who I match up with or rank all characters up at the same time or have gods on secondaries match up with other players on secondaries. Other fighting games do these things. So can tekken.
I like ranks but I stopped at Emperor...not because I can't keep climbing, I know I can keep improving but...either I destroy some green emperor and he leaves after 1 match and have to wait another 15 to 20 min to fight the same dude...or I get destroyed by some 8000 wins veteran TGP playing with one of his secondaries...now I just play quickmatches or with friends

''Just break the throw'' doesn't solve the actual problem. In fact the ''root'' of the problem is King and Armored King themselves as they were built that way , its not about whether if you CAN break them or not , its about whether if you get the CHANCE to break it or you GUESSED right.
Sure some of grabs can be broken , but if its the ones where you really need to GUESS which input is the correct one unless you're a LITERALY GOD , forget learning how to ''break the thow'' , you are in Lady Luck's hands.

Oh, and apparently he doesn't like being mixed too. Hypocrisy, much? I thought that playing fundamental characters is always fun but but he complains about every character whether it is a character he likes or not so I don't really give a damn, honestly. If you play ranked in Pakistan, you will be greeted and utterly destroyed by smurfs in the beginner ranks. Rarely do you find someone who plays like their rank. If you play quick matches, it's either really good players or complete beginners. But when you manage to find someone closer in skill, those matches are the most enjoyable.
