Armor King has always been the most badass character in the series to me. I just hate how they keep dropping him from the roster, only to add him back, only to drop him again, etc. But crap like Alisa is around to stay.

Unrelated note, but they did the same thing for Lee, who initially started out as a Law clone. Now look how much different the two characters are: miles apart in terms of difference.

I came back to play Tekken seriously purely for Armor King in T7. He's just so damn cool. iSW drive the opponent into the ground as your combo ender. Brutal headbutt grab, shoulder, stomps. High-flying elbows, flip DDT, front kick to stunner, poison gas. And those win poses and outfits, amazing. 80 damage (!) staple combo. Wavedash. The most fun I've ever had with a fighting game character on design alone, and he's pretty good to boot.
The really nailed with the design with AK in T7....really badass
My oh my I don't just remember his moves from tekken 6, his customization was just, the BEST
He forgot to mention that 3+4, 2 was safe in this game bcuz he stand up even if blocked

Yeah Tekken 6 looks great to this day.
Graphics was so good, it apparently caused the online lag. That's why T6 was so popular among arcade/offline and tournament players but not so much among online ones.

would also be great to merge many things from 6.0 and BR. like boss loading screens/UI character select music etc and maybe allow us to play around with both versions on the settings.
But some tag 2 moves like armor kings UF 3 knee, King's WR 2 1 etc with the same t6 mechanics ofc to make characters more complete.
I play t6 tt2 on ps3 and I can say the graphics still hold up and we're way ahead of their time. A remaster would out it up there w the best
Excellent video! I was hoping to see the old Reverse Switch-Kick Tornado covered, though. Hilariously bad as it used to be, and as much as I love his new Stunner, I still have a soft spot for that move.
I've been waiting for this one, both him and Bruce were my mains but they sucked in 5, damn near cried when 6 came out.

Assign the shoulder buttons to be button cominations like 1+2, 3+4 etc. Makes the game easier for pad

I may not know how to ewgf... But ever since i learned how to properly input the giant swing notation even during air with a combo, I've been a happy man. Proud to say I get it 98% of the time 😁
I need to put more practice in for my EWGF. I can do it, I'm just not consistent with it. I'm too used to street fighter style where you hit buttons at the end of motions and if you want to do things quickly you negative edge them. Tekken doesn't allow negative edge input so I have to consciously trick my brain to hit the button almost as soon as I go neutral.
Armor King is my main and T6 is my favorite tekken game.
Nice to see TMM showing the ground throw some love. For a scrub like me with bad execution, it's easymode to just get a lariat and do a ground throw for big damage.
In addition to everything you mentioned, you can pick up downed with d3+4 for wall carry. He still has the classic mishima wavedash mixup, only strengthened by the fact he has good throws too, including throws for downed and crouching. When he wavedashes up, the opponent has to decide if it's going to be a dark upper, lariat, power mid, WS4 or some kind of throw. If they guess wrong, he gets a combo. I don't remember which power mids of his from CD mixup knock down but I'd bet there is one.
His wavedash mixup is not scary at all like kazuyas. Sidestepping works against everything except if you do ff3 out of a wavedash
I hope they get Gigas right, i love the character.
One can hope brotha. They have a good chance to separate him if he gets another shot in the next game. For now in 7 it'd be nice to have more throws, hell even one for golem would be cool if making both options a mid

omg the arms for throws used to be so much more obvious than they are in Tekken 8! No wonder I always found breaking them easier

I can tell you what sucked about Miguel.
Savage wasn't fleshed out.
Weak transition options and no instant SAV. You had to wait for him to lean before you could act.
Believe the only notable strengths about T6 Miguel, is B+4 and his range in general.
Tag 2, Rev and T7 s2 are still much better variations.

all bound strings are like that in t7 because the screw replaced the bound
Main Man: it's hard to press 2 buttons at once on a pad.
Use the fuckin' shoulder buttons dude. It's not cheating. Sticks have six buttons too (or even 8 buttons technically, lol). You don't even have to bind 2 inputs to 1 button if you don't want to. Just make duplicate inputs.

Are you using f 2,1? Just curious, it's a good punish for a lot of things but it won't work on everything.
@@Maggot39967 I usually use it but maybe not as I should, I use jab df1 too mutch. In the last time I'm wiffing a lot of ws2 even if I'm +, hitbox is a lot strange on certain char.

Tekken 6 & TT2 has the best character selection !!! and good gameplay. In Tekken 7 are all newly added characters except for Claudio and Shaheen are Trash. The guest characters are all jokers who have nothing to do with Tekken.
In Tekken 7, Joisie replaces the legendary Bruce Irvin !!! hahaha
I disagreed but I do agree that they shouldn't replace Bruce with Josie.
His armor is darker and more shiny. Blacker skin and his mask is darker.
