Damn Zodiak personally i dont care if someone takes my farm if theyre the actual carry of the game. if im 0/5 and wont be useful for the next 20 minutes and youre 5/0 literally putting the team on your back, go right ahead. sometimes you have to allow yourself to get carried, even in a carry role

This is why I'll never be challenger... I can't think like this.. Like I try but it actually really difficult.. My aggression and play style is so wrong.. But these videos are a good start, hopefully I can learn alot.. Patience, aggression, thinking of every play and not getting baited.. But also not being a bitch.. Its a definite work in progress..
aggression is not wrong. Just don't try champ on rank and expect to win. If you master 1 champ, master his playstyle, have back ups of in case things go south, aggression is not a problem. Bruce Lee once said, "Fear man who practiced 1 kick 1000 times rather than a man who practiced 1000 kicks once"
Learn how to channel your aggression and where to put forth your energy. These games play themselves out often times you just have to be the one to steer the wheel in right direction. Study macro and learn the flowcharts when you understand the steps on how to win different types of games all you need to do in a live game is identify what flowchart to follow for that specific game. And when it's time to jump ship from one "plan" or win con to the next that's exactly what our friend does demonstrates here.

You'll never be challenger. Not because of this. But because there are only 200 spots in challenger. You have to be top 200 out of 2.5 mill ranked players. Not only that, but take into consideration multiple challenger accounts being piloted by the same player.

This is great situational advice, though the gromp steal was rather questionable. In this particular game Kai'sa rage healed and proceeded to live up to your non-existing expectations of her. In another game, she'll go afk. Good luck winning then.
As long as you aren't being toxic and flaming her then most of the time people won't leave after just that so it should be ok. And he wasn't trolling either, she was useless that game anyways
You never type to this type of people, you can do so much watching the map and making calls that waisting your energy for people like her in completely worthless and gives nothing. He taking her gromp was a good call, period. You never type to this kind of people.
Also he is playing in plat as challenger, but people watching this will be like silver (wanna-be-plat) taking gromp from other silver (wanna-be-plat) guy. Probably not that effective.
At least he had enoguh gold for deathcap thanks to this gromp ealier :)

@3:10 "When you need to carry, you can't die." This is the essence of split pushing. When I'm 7/0 on Yorick with 700 bounty while all my teammates are feeding and they flame me for not going to teamfights (supposedly to join them dying).
As a split pusher, this tip actually is effective. I will vouch on that. If you have a split pushing champ, if you see that you don't have the team fight comp OR your team is feeding hard, it's best not to join them. I threw a lot of games before I learned this.
This strat best work on yorick because he is a split push JUGGERNAUT which means he can go to either hyper split or meatshield tank. If my team is doing really good and they don't need me in fights OR they are doing really bad that we cannot teamfight, I build triforce then damage items for splitting.
If my team is on the okay side OR they have good team fight comp (wombo combos, etc) I go frozen mallet and be that tank.
It suits my gameplay because I was a tank main (tahm kench) before mastering split push (trynda) in which now, I can be both (yorick)

This is exactly the way to carry when matched with terrible teams. The only problem I have is constantly being flamed for that and eventually succumb to their complaints, chicken out, and join the team due to peer pressure and eventually losing the game and get flamed more. :( I need to stop being pressured into doing it the bronze way.

Your actually just a bit of an ass. Kai got caught out once (she drew out two flashes too!) and you just say shes useless. Yes she did the least dammage probably because her lane matchup wasn't good, she had asses that wouldn't let her get gold mid game and an orn sett that had no idea how to play teamfights. In this situation she's a bit tilted and the last thing you should do is play into that more for 100gp. Let her hit at least her two item spike or something. I'm not saying you need to shovel all the farm into her but literally tilting your own teamate over 100gp is negative expected value. It's way hard to play adc when your team cock blocks your power spike, and judges you on one bad fight where you throw pingpong balls just trying to do something. She's just trying to do what you said she should do as you say in the video play to her win condition which is farm to some item spikes play more conservative and scale to a two item spike or so. That way she can you know maybe get some of that damage your flaming her for even if the Frontline is trash.
Please people hit tab and see that your adc is really almost to a two item spike and donate a wave or at the very least don't be an ass that yoinks jungle camps your adc just spent 15 second on to get low.

@@198link You're absolutely right about this. We didn't see the full game, though, so we can't really say if it was just Kai'Sa getting screwed over and having one bad fight, or if she really was just doing terribly all game.
You need to use your own judgment in these situations, but its usually better not to risk perma-tilting your teammate unless you think it'd be worth it for you to hard carry a 4v5.

The problem with calling taking the gromp the correct play is that if an iron player thinks he is the next faker and starts doing this (cause he thinks he is the best player in his team ofc) he will end up losing more games because from that perspective he is just trolling.
Iron players are super volatile. You can literally trigger an inting spree or afk with this. Also it's an overall shitty thing to do because the xp/gold from gromp is not worth a potential int/afker.
If Kaisa decided to AFK, then Red team wouldn't have won those fights while Diana split pushed. Or worse that Kaisa could've run down mid over and over to feed the enemy just to stick it to Diana. I seriously can't see this challenger play as a good move.
Ok so everybody crying in the comments saying this only works with this specific type of champion, did you not watch the video? He gave ori as another example, play to your champions strengths. So here goes for a general idea:
- Top lane splitpusher: splitpush
- Top lane Tank: Teamfight and find good engages when they make a mistake, or you can instead peel for your carry and protect him from any danger. For instance if the enemy has a kha zix and you're playing Sett, and your carry is fed/good player perhaps try to cc the kha zix as soon as he hops on your carry.
- Mid lane Assassin: Nuke their biggest threat
- Mid lane Poke: Poke to stop them from sieging your structures or to poke them untill they're low enough your team that's behind can win the fight. If you have a late game comp a poke champ can help you get there by stalling long enough when they try to siege.
- Jungle Tank: Same thing as top tank
- Assassin jungler: Nuke their biggest threat
- Farm jungler: You will probably outscale them if you keep slowing down the game and farming
- Support tank: Yeah again same thing
- Enchanter support: Keep your fed/good carry alive
- AP support: Nuke their biggest threat
- ADC: Try to stall and stay alive until you become relevant enough to kill their team, this does require you to be mechanically good and have good positioning.

To be fair, it is much easier to do on something with strong solo power because something like a tank, for example, often relies on having at least one capable carry on your team. It's much easier to solo carry on Diana than it is if you're Leona with an ADC that refuses to deal damage.
@@yraco1232 Leona is a really good engage support, you need to be constantly roaming helping as much as you can, mid, jg sometimes even top. If you dont have anything to do or are hard shoving the enemy botlane, you should prioritize vision, setting up engages for your team that are impossible to mess up. You need to make someone the carry if its not going to be your bot laner.
@@andrewg7779 Well yes but the point is that you're going to have a bad time if the people on champions that can carry are bad. If you've got a tank top, jungle, support and are relying on mid and bot to deal damage then it's going to be pretty hard to carry if both of those are dealing hardly any damage.
Obviously you should still play your role to maximise the chance you win but it's going to be harder on a champion that's designed to enable someone else to carry than if you're on a champion that can carry directly.

It definitely was the wrong call in silver elo, Kai'Sa would have left the game and his plan to force 4on4s etc would have crumbled.
Uhh final recall for deathcap. Needed that gold for that, you have to remember gold is permanent not temporary
@@tyber_roman313 The 150 gold group gives isn’t worth the risk of Kai’sa tilting and running it down, but if this is ranked, she probably won’t screw up her own rank like that so the gold would be somewhat useful. It wasn’t necessary though, Hector could’ve kept farming minions, towers and enemy jungle camps to get the power spike, he had enough time.

Just because one action doesn’t directly lead to one outcome doesn’t mean it was not the cause of that outcome. Pushing sidelanes causes their team to split up to prevent your pushes instead of grouping for team fights, which they would lose. The point was that by spreading out the team in side lanes, this caused their team to split up to match it, which then caused the numbers advantages.

@@anthony26812 that's literally never the case - them being afk demotivates your team, incentives the enemy to group and force objectives in the same way they would if the person was off the map for any other reason (dead) and it's not like kaisa's pathetic 10k damage came from the start of the game where she had no items - it came at the end and would be lost if she was afk.

When he says Kaisa did nothing that is hyperbole - she did 10k damage. He saved himself 3 minions of gold at the risk of losing 10kdmg and a body on the map. It was not smart and promotes toxic behaviour lol.
You can Stan the guide maker if you like, he's a good player but this line of reasoning is fallacious as you are equating 'strictly better than nothing Kaisa not afk' with 'actual nothing' all for 3 minions. Why risk it?

If you did the steal gromp in my div, he will instantly feed rest of the game.
That's why I think stuff like this isn't just mean, it's also pretty stupid. Doesn't matter how bad you perceive a teammate to be, the gold of one gromp can't be worth giga tilting them.

That doesn't mean you should steal their camps right under their noses. "But she dealt least damage" you're lucky she didn't rage disconnect, which would've cost you the entire game. He just took a 50/50 gamble on whether to instantly lose the game right there, for 100g (which, again, was from his teammate).
I appreciate every video from Skill Capped and they are much better players than I am, but that was clearly a mistake on his behalf. Best play isn't always the best play if it means your team will go afk.
@@MahiKoodaa The problem is that you are assuming that player is the win condition, and he will do something useful with the gold and carry the game. You may tilt the player for not giving him any new resources but any new resources you take will help you finish the game due to the fact that you are sure what you can do and you know what you are doing

Just because she won't carry doesn't mean it's ok to lose her. Even a challenger wont win straight out 1v5 without actually having teammates.

You are contradicting yourself. If she is not carrying you don't need her in order to win. If it was high elo you won't have this discussion because she would know she fed and she would willingly give any resource to the carry otherwise she would be inting and wouldn't be in high elo taking those decisions
@Wolfie321 you don't want her splitpushing in her own because anyone can kill her so quickly that you won't have time to do a thing, she is behind as an adc, it's a free kill. You are not only giving away 1 kill and putting her more behind if they kill her (or want to end the game there that would be even worse) but even if they choose not to go after her they could take 5v4 without the adc and that in mid to late game is pretty bad. You are weakening a possible team fight and objective pressure because you didn't realise that she cannot fight alone
What would I do if I’m that orianna from your example but my team is araming mid?
Try to take all the farm to yourself while clearing waves and get some items thx to that farming, no one will question that. Later on, try to look for enemy overextends or mistakes so you can ult them together and deal chunk of dmg and hope your team can do the rest. More farm you have, more dmg you deal with your micro plays. Orianna can solo carry games but it's harder than Diana.
What would you suggest for this kind of situation if I'm on a support champion? Should I sell my support item and just pretending I'm a regular lane champion instead? Great video :)
imo you try to ward for the strongest player, if he is splitting, even if it is one good ward because baron needs to be well warded.
@@aruanmello9320 If you have an obvious carry I'd agree to just focus on supporting them, but in the example video the other four players were fairly unskilled. I guess I was talking about that sort of situation ^^;
@@The23rdGamer If you play in diamond or lower, using self sufficient supports might be a good idea. Something like pyke, senna or bard can easily deal most dmg on the team, if the other four players on your team are utter garbage. Obviously, 1v9 comebacks don't happen often and are even harder with supp, but at least you'll have a chance with these picks :D
@@The23rdGamer oh i understand better now. I've got myself in similar situations and what looked best for me its just to never fully engage unless theere is a clear numbers adv. Also botlane without a duo is trully suffering soo you need to sup for someone trustworthy.
In low elo u can carry with mage supports with a support items and high vision score as well. In high elo tho that doesn't work as well because having a strong engage or peeler is always much better than one more damage champion.
Just a side note: @4:40 he went bot side which is quite wrong. The reason is that since dragon is up, you should be going top. REMEMBER, split push AWAY from the objectives. The reason why he was ganked here was because of that. The opponent team must be going to dragon but since he went bot, they ganked him instead because of numbers advantage.
YOU ALWAY SPLIT PUSH AWAY FROM OBJECTIVES. This is called cross mapping. The reason they got baron is because opponent team is halved between going against the split push or baron. If there's no objective on the map, you should go on which lane is pushing towards you.
As someone who’s a gold jungler with around a 60% WR, I can say that using this strategy has saved me so many games. I get so tilted when I gain a sizable lead, try to help team and listen to their calls, team throws, and then nothing good happens. The tilt factor alone is so huge to where I will perform significantly better if I abandon team till super fed.
or when you're the player with 70% of the kills within your team, tanked most dmg in the entire game, dealt most dmg in the entire game, destroyed more towers in the entire team, cs'ed most in the entire game and warded as top more than the supporter and you still lose....
such teammates brought me from a 65% wr to 59% 😦
All of this advice only worked because your team won the teamfight mid after you killed Victor, though. If they'd gotten stomped, which is probably far more likely considering how terrible they normally were, then you would have lost a ton of structures midlane in exchange for you getting one kill. So I guess the lesson is "If they suck, hope they suck just little enough to hold out while you hit 18."
I just don't think this is possible in most situations unless you vastly out-mechanics everyone else in the game, have a top-tier champion that excels at exactly this style, and get extremely lucky with how your teammates handle it. Just one guy inting because you're not with the team and its over. Just one enemy that effectively counters your split push and its over. Just one horrible 4v5 teamfight and its over.
No it's not, he explained play to your champions strengths. Obviously if your team actually can't win anything you are going to lose, but making plays like he's trying to teach you can be the difference between a 49% winrate and a 55% winrate, making you climb. It's not about winning every game, it's about winning and learning as many games as you can.
You are definitely right, several matches are way harder than this one on video, and even if you get solo double/triple kills on spliting, your team will problably die on another lane or in jungle. Solo carry is a mith, it happens sometimes, but when teammates truly feed enemies, its just another defeat you cannot avoid
@@taserrr I definitely understand playing to your outs and picking the best odds in a situation that doens't have any partiicularly good odds, but there's no way that this the best odds. Everything here is teetering on the edge of causing someone to tilt and lose the game just out of sheer disdain that you're not helping. In a perfect world where everyone knows what you're doing, why you're doing it, and can set aside their own emotions this may well be the best course of action, but we're talking about the same people who ragequit because jungle didn't gank their lane early. And that's all before we factor in the likelihood of one of the other things I mentioned earlier.
Many of the guides here are great on a mechanical level but completely ignore player psychology, and actively encourage actions that work against even a basic understanding of other people's mental states.

I've seen a lot of comments complaining about how your team can still lose the 4v4 or 4v3 (if enemies sent 2 people into you) but they dont seem to understand that this video does not teach you how to win every game. They might lose the fight, yes, it happens, but by taking smarter decisions in your game, you will slowly start to win more (not every game). I agreed with everything except the gromp stolen, although the gold was better on diana, the ally kaisa could've went afk or start inting, especially in lower elos.
Sadly while this is definitely the best option giving you a chance of winning, your team can still feed in a 4v4 then blame you for not being there even if you get the kill so it won't always work out

Thats the problem, everytime I do this my team dies 4x5 and I can't keep pushing because they come after me after winning the 4x5, it would be too easy if everytime our teams stalled a 4x5 so you can splitpush, but idiots like to fight in disadvantages everytime it seems

From mid plat this starts to work as your team is more likely to count teammates before rushing in. In silver-gold, this is just a sure way to lose in my experience.

Your teammates weren't that bad AT ALL!! You have made the whole video around how people can actually solo carry some hard games but it is not a good example. Several times I act exactly how you described, even spreading the team and getting solo split skills, but there are some situations where your team simply die in numerical advantage! Solo carry is a mith, it can happen sometimes, but if 4 teammates TRULY int the game, its not really possible to win.
I mean, I really learn a lot from the channel content, but this one was made almost for saying: you can solo win any match as long as you follow your champion gameplan - which is not true at all.
what should you do if you play champions that are not good at sidelaning or 1v1? like oriana for instance? You have to stay mid to clear waves and the game itself becomes an ARAM (losing CS and XP for all our carries). Thanks in advance.
This video was very helpful but you said your laners were 0/1 after lane phase. But in low elo your laners will have atleast 0/3 since even though they are behind they will 1v1 the enemy and die or just permapush waves without vision, die to ganks and type:"gg wp jg diff" and go afk.

Jungle main here, at that point in the game it's no longer the junglers jungle, just like it's not bottoms farm. I have no issue with a carry taking camps at that point.
If you KNOW you can carry, you take the whole map. You don't play based on what your team thinks. You play based on what you KNOW. You can't control your team but you can control your plays.
I play yorick top and I ALWAYS take the WHOLE TOP JUNGLE. I normally get 110-120cs in 10 mins. At 20 mins, I have 2 items (and a half) then split push top 2v1-ing anyone while the rest of my team goes nowhere.
Your team complains while playing but no one complains once you win.

You're aware that you won this game because your teammates did some good plays on the other side of the map, while you're afk farming, and because the enemy was overextending a couple of times, right?! Your split pushing was not the factor that won you the game. The enemy being stupidly bad is what won you the game. You also just got lucky that Kai'Sa didn't go AFK, or troll fed the enemy, because of that gromp steal. Even more, you're lucky that your jungler didn't do the same, since you fucked up his EXP this whole game. The ONLY real reason you won this game is because you got lucky that both Kai'Sa and Sett didn't troll you this game because of your selfishness. Heck, I wouldn't even be surprised if Sett is a premade of yours, because NOWAY in hell a jungler, in season 10, wouldn't troll/afk when half his jungle camps are being stolen from him. It's not the first time I've seen you play as premades for the sake of proving a point in a video, afterall...
I don't care if you're Challenger, this type of guides is useless when you try to do the same thing in lower Elo and the ones you steal from start trolling you and/or go afk, which is, btw, more realistic and happens more often than what you're trying to sell here. So stop promoting selfish playstyle in SoloQ, its not helping anyone. Recently I had a game, where I was the only fed one on our team, there were 20 kills on our side and 12 of them were mine, useless top, jungle, support, and an ADC that barely got her 2nd item at 35 mins. So I saw my team grouped in mid and decided to split bot (I was playing Pantheon btw) and I didn't even manage to clear 2 waves and my team enageges on the enemy team under their tower (their team is fed af and we don't have 2 towers in mid, they had all their towers up). In that situation where all my teammates died, what are my opportunities to carry the game? I could easily solo their adc, support, mid, and with a little bit help their fed top and fed jungle, but my teammates weren't reliable at all, also they (the enemies) always play grouped so I can't eliminate them separately.

I had a "grandmaster" flame me for picking Yuumi support, in a Bronze tier game, and then proceeded to support them so they got a 9/0 lead in bot lane. Pretty sure a "grandmaster" Jinx player wouldn't need the help of a lowly yummi support. Smurfs, if he really was one, flame more than I've ever seen in my life. Anyone diamond or higher should easily carry a bronze game even if they're 9v1. Something tells me he wasn't really grand master... oh and apparently you're never supposed to proc Yuumi passive, and never ever attach to anyone else besides ADC. Even if our Darius is 10/2 and can penta the enemy team. Clearly I should only ever be attached to adc.
I understand why you put that kind of "selfish perspective," but I don't think it is good word to describe. It should be focusing on whether each of the team can do it. If they can't do teamfight well, you have to play differently to give advantage in a cheesy win condition. Like in the teamfight they won when there is 5 vs 3, that is easy to win. Or you just get yourself fed and push.

even if my adc is that kaisa doing gromp i would never steal that from her. High risk of her just ragequitting and we would be just 4v5, and all the fights you brought number advantage your team just aren't a number advantage anymore. One rule i learned the hard way in soloq is, NEVER tilt your teammates more than they already are. I always type 'wp' when they do something good or kill someone, and when they do things wrong, or die, i just don't type anything. If they flame me, i mute them but still cheer them up/help them when possible, like when kayn were solokilled by the enemy jungler on the scuttle, blamed me for not rotating to help him (i was under my tower as senna, and he was 1v1, no help from their bot or mid lane at all) and i just muted him but still said thanks or wp when he ganked bot or took a tower, and when walking thru our jungle i would always attack the monsters to help him clear faster. He stopped pinging me after a while and started playing better, and we won the game.
The point is: the same way you don't want to risk 1v1 viktor afrait of Vi being close by, you don't want to risk one teammate afking, as worthless are they may be, for 90 gold and a bit of exp

Your support doesn't have to always follow you. In fact it might even be better if he doesn't follow you for that juicy solo exp. But it all depends on the game.
If your team dies 4 v 5 early its not that big of a deal since of the short death timers the enemy cant take much.
When your 3 levels ahead and have taken some towers while safely splitting, when you join a team fight (and in low elo youre probably stronger than anyone else) you could possibly end the game with the longer death timers.
Try to farm mid and sides with next epic monster respawn
You just can't. As an ADC you have a giant target on your head and you will get collapsed on if the enemy team can see you anywhere on the map alone. You can split push if everyone is visible on the map but otherwise you need to ward your own jungle and push to river and then turn around. Take your own jungle camps when you can and hope the stars align and you pop off when a fight inevitably breaks out. Dianna can split push because she can 1v1 anyone on their team and get away, but as an ADC, unless you are really far ahead, you can pretty much never do this. All you can do is farm and try and get in a good position.

The annoying thing about split pushing is that most of the time teammates are just too scared to appear on the map with less than 5 players which gives the opportunity to the enemy team to send multiple people for me while my team kinda exists. This is 90% of the time and they even blame me

Qiyana can split push but not as well as diana, i find myself in situations like all the time but idk what to do about it, how do i carry as qiqi?

you're kind of screwed falling behind on a champ that's meant to do well early game, but qiyana ult is still good in fights so if you can get a clutch ult you can maybe turn a game around

If you play a high scaling ADC like Vayne or Kai'sa, just push sidelane out to river (no further or risk of team or you dying is too high) every chance you get. Also, playing these types of ADCs, if you know you can 1v1 certain players on the map and they're the ones holding you, you can just outright splitpush, but immobile ADCs like Jhin and Caitlyn aren't able to do this effectively.

copa593 if ur team dies 4v4 and they start to take baron u should be getting their whole bot side towers and inhib maybe even just keep splitting for nexus towers. once they start shoving mid again just shove bot and end the game. if u see them coming just tell your team to come and try to back off as far as you can. if they are an idiot and facecheck u just kill them and boom 4v5
I get that this Kai'Sa is an exception, but I absolutely HATE when I'm playing ADC and every single one of my teammates including support does all they can to steal all of my gold income, only to spam "omg ADC no damage" after any major teamfight.
And if my team lost a 4v4 fight and the enemy went to gg, what should be done? Go back and defend the base and lose priority in the side lane?

You gotta be more careful playing with your teams mental. Its honestly a 50/50 coinflip kaisa afks and then you're to blame for the loss. I have made one comment before that was a correct play and not flame causing a teemate to run my lane down and lose the game... and it was my fault because it's my job to not ruin my teams mental.

i think in elo below plat all this does not count, the only way to carry in low elo is just smashing your lane and split pushing killing anybody comes, you need yo get so fed that you win 1v1 1v2 and 1v3 and keep hammering. it is not easy but thats the truth

Think of the alternative. You group with your team and lose a 5v5. It doesn't matter if you were there or not if your team is throwing they are going to throw. At least by splitting and killing viktor you can trade objects and take advantage of the fact that there are 4 mid.
i always lose in low elo with diana because of my team i always win lane and we win early but we cant end it so enemy team can comeback
i always try to do exactly this sequence of plays, but my team NEVER get together. Each one is in one sidelane or farming jungle or just feeding. I try to tell'em what to do but never works. Gold/plat
